Mind blowing poutine! Hand cut fries are the foundation of this excellent staple generously topped with plenty of gravy and cheese curds. This unassuming spot is now my favourite in the area. I can’t wait to try the submarines. We were brought our poutine out to the outside benches. Very sweet service
I found the chicken skewer very good, garnished with large pieces of colored peppers and onions. The rice and fried potatoes were also very good. The salad, I will ask for a separate sauce perhaps next time because I don't like the orange sauce from the store which I think is called French, but it's a very personal taste. Only small problem, they forgot to give me my drink included with the dish. I was already gone when I realized it. The prices are still pretty reasonable...
The place is not very welcoming; it could use some love and renovation. But hey, we certainly don't go there to eat there. When I saw that there were doners on the menu, I knew that's what I had to try! The doner bread is homemade and the sandwhich itself is really generously filling and delicious. Pleasantly surprised!
