Mikado is a stylish, upscale spot with excellent sushi. We arrived in rain jackets since we were visiting, and the host initially asked if we were picking up — which made us feel a bit unwelcome despite having a reservation.
But the experience completely turned around thanks to our waitress. She was warm, friendly, and attentive, and really made us feel comfortable. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared.
A great meal overall, with service that truly made the difference.

Food was mid for the price, spent 250 for 2 people and expected more but the overall atmosphere is fine except for the Karen that kept looking over at the young couple sitting next to her, not that that's any of the restaurant's fault. Didn't have to wait though because without reservations you could get a few seats at the bar.

Amazing selection of sushi and cocktails. Had the lobster roll, nigiri and ndg, all where amazing. Yuzurita and Paradis where refreshing and delicious. Perfect date location as well.
We used to be regulars here because we like the food but unfortunately the service is deplorable. Tonight we got up and left because nobody showed up at our table for what seemed like an eternity. This was the third time in a row that this happened. As we were leaving the maitre’d asked us if we enjoyed our meal! When we told him nobody showed up at our table, instead of trying to make things right he simply said he would inform his manager.
Still a good restaurant but no longer a great restaurant. When we pointed out to our waitress that our carafe was chipped, she said no worries, it’s been like that for a while!
