Went twice and it was undeniably delicious, but a bit pricey and maybe a tad bit overrated. My main disappointment are the portions, maybe I expected more for the price but I understand why it's highly adored, everything is perfectly executed from the sauce to the texture of the fresh pasta... Really can't deny how the flavors were on point, but for the price I am not inclined to go back. (Photos from 2024.)

The food was truly authentic and full of flavor, every dish we tried was top class and clearly made with care.

However, the experience fell a little short on the personal side. We were celebrating our anniversary and had chosen this restaurant for our special day, but unfortunately, there wasn’t any acknowledgment or gesture to make the evening feel memorable.

We ordered a bottle of wine and would have really appreciated a small touch, even a simple greeting or a sweet gesture, to make the occasion feel special.

At a charming neighborhood restaurant, especially one recognized in the Michelin Guide and with dishes at a higher price point, that kind of personal touch is something you expect and look forward to.

Overall, the food was excellent, but a bit more attention to the guest experience would have made it truly unforgettable.

Service is impeccable, ambiance is nice and cocktails are good. Food is good, clearly
made with high quality and fresh ingredients. The lobster pasta and calamari were personal favourites. For the price point I still believe a few other spots in the city are more worth it / leave me wanting for more. Something was still missing in terms of flavour / depth.

Very good service and people. Starters were commendable!!

However their pasta is very oily/buttery it made my stomach upset within an hour.

The service and food were great until we got our mains. The mains arrived at our table warm at best. The gnocchi was also very greasy but our kids were hungry so we just kept their meals. I took 2 bites of the fish and told the waitress that it was barely warm. They took it back and when they brought it back a few minutes later, they told me they reheated the plate. The fish was now broken into flakes and 3/4 of it was gone. We told them this was really strange and (for 44$) expected them to cook a new plate...and what happened to the rest of the fish? They didn't offer to make a new plate, they just said that if we weren't happy they'd take the plate away which they did. They eventually came back and said they wouldn't charge me for the plate which went without saying, considering I hadn't eaten anything. Not the type of service you'd expect considering the prices they charge.

The price you pay is well justified.
For appetizer, we ordered the arancini and a scallop dish. The scallop was fresh and they put a lot of different aromatics and fruits. I got the pork plate and it was delicious. The presentation is beautiful. The portions are filling. The focaccia is incredible.

The service is also great.

This restaurant truly deserves the hype it gets.

Probably my favourite pizza place. I go here for my birthday every year. My son loves to watch the workers make the pizza, they are true artists.

Restaurant Moccione is an Italian restaurant with outstanding food, top tier service and relaxed and warm atmosphere.

Every dish we ordered was unique and delicious. My favourite was the Suckling Pig Skewer. The mix of sausages and roast pork was cooked perfectly and the broth's flavour was very earthy and so tasty that we asked the waiter for more focaccia so we could clean our plates.

There’s a reason this place is considered by locals as one of the top places in Montreal. The menu is incredibly original and inventive. The food is prepared immaculately and all the ingredients are fresh. A visit here is certainly on the pricier side but if you enjoy tasting quality food and trying new types of ingredients, it is certainly worth it (if you can get the reservation!). I definitely recommend ordering 2-3 appetisers per group of two in addition to a main as the portion sizes are on the smaller size, but this definitely just allows you to try more dishes!

Elaborate and imaginative rotating menu. Delicately prepared delicious food that is modernly presented. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable (even moreso considering the Michelin 2025 ⭐)

One of the best dinning experiences in Montreal so far. Nice service, atmosphere, and outstanding food. Dishes were nicely presented and service was attentive. Very popular.
