Wooow! It must have been almost forty years since I last walked into a Nickels, back when René Angélil and Céline Dion founded the banner! And, from what I remember, the menu has really changed, even if smoked meat is still in the spotlight. The decor... phew... if you like vintage, you will be amazed!

The services are not very cheerful, no sense of humor for me...

Very disappointed with my visit to this place, I do not recommend.
Dark place and in need of refreshing.
Overcooked souvlaki skewers.
Milkshake that tastes like old ice cream from the bottom of the freezer
Super dry French toast.
Bad service at reception and at the table. For example: coffee was included with lunch and if I hadn't asked for it, I would never have received it. Also, I don't expect very good coffee in this kind of place but this was what you call dishwater.

Thierry and his wife are kind hosts throughout. Smiling and pro-active staff. Finding myself filming for my show was a gift from heaven to send it to Celine Dion. Thank you very much and I love their meal ha ha!

I ordered a Marilyn burger (I think). The cooking of the meat was okay, but the cheese was not melted, it was just sitting on top of the meat. A little weird. The fries were not hot. The decoration of the restaurant could be cool, but strangely, it is not, it has aged badly. The waitress was nice. Overall, I found this restaurant mediocre.

Ordered an extra lean smoked meat sandwich with fries which came with a yummy, creamy coleslaw & pickle for take out. It was absolutely delicious.

One of the best french toasts ive had in my life, the restaurant itself is welcoming and gives 80-90s retro style vibe. The food itself is not so bad and the staff is great

Vegetarian options: My vegan friend loves the food options!

A little disappointed with my margarita, there was a lot of ice. I had a chicken sandwich, I thought Hot sauce meant hot sauce, not at all, it looked like poutine sauce, I was a little disappointed, there wasn't much flavor. Otherwise the service was ok

Everything you could expect from a brunch in a diner. It’s budget friendly, there are plenty of options, and the waitresses are always really nice.

Hey boy how can we say that this is a place at Smoke Meat not even capable of cutting with a knife equal to a lot of very very thick slice if I wanted to eat a steak I would have taken that and not a jumbo as a sandwich!!
My wife takes a regular poutine, I think the salt shaker in the sauce

Retro style diner, good food and pleasant service! Had not been in a Nickels for years and it's just as I remembered it.

No idea, I couldn't get in. No parking space within 1km, a disabled lady accompanied me, the distance was too far for walking, sorry, too difficult to access.
