Behesht Restaurant

This is a phenomenal restaurant! The food is really good quality and delicious. The manager is especially excellent, so respectful and accommodating. The prayer room is highly appreciated. The waitresses and waiters are nice. The food comes promptly even when they are full house. The decor is beautiful. Would love it if there were windows on the second floor. Been here twice already and will be coming again and recommending to others!

Great food - high quality meat and ingredients. I’d skip the spiced koobideh, as it tasted like added hot sauce instead of chillies.

Compared to Toronto, this is quite pricey for the same portions.

We had friendly staff, there wasn’t much of a wait, and plenty of parking at the location.

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The cleanliness of the establishment was noticeably lacking, which raised immediate concerns about overall hygiene standards. The food itself was disappointing it tasted like undercooked frozen items with very little flavor or freshness. The salad, in particular, had an unpleasant taste and did not seem fresh at all. Additionally, the water bottles served to our table had visible stains on them, which was quite off putting

The only redeeming aspect of the visit was the service. The staff were attentive, polite, and did their best to accommodate us despite the overall shortcomings

One of the best Iranian restaurant experiences I’ve ever had!
The place was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious and served in generous portions.
The staff were incredibly friendly, polite, and welcoming.
Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food.
There was also easy parking nearby.
If you’re looking for authentic Persian food with a warm and inviting atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!

I wish I could give a better review as I liked the food (though the koobideh was a bit undercooked).
However, I cannot in all fairness say that this restaurant is clean enough for a returning customer. There were so many flies hovering above the table that eating turned into a hassle. I had to constantly wave my hand to prevent flies from sitting on my food. On top of that, when they brought bread and butter to our table, the first package of butter I picked was open and used. It was clear that it was pick up from another table once the customers had finished their food (see the picture), not to mention that the butter was not even real butter; it was margarine (so cheap).

All in all, with so many choices in Montreal, this customer is not coming back.

Post note:
At the end of our dinner, my son of 11 ordered the Baqlava on the menu. He got a plate with one piece of Baqlava. The item on the menu was a two-piece dessert. They just felt comfortable bringing one piece for my son since he was a kid. As it turned out, they did not feel shy charging the full-price though.

A good restaurant serving tasty Iranian food. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with beautiful classic decoration that adds to the experience. A great place to enjoy traditional Persian dishes in a cozy setting. Highly recommend!

One of the best and most professional Iranian restaurants I've seen in all of Canada. They were extremely respectful and created a delightful experience for me and my family. The atmosphere was also excellent and very pleasant.

Was my first time there. The food was cold and the kabab was very thin. There was not enough rice on the plate. We had to ask 4-5 times for cutlery , sumac, onions and bread. The service was very slow and the waitress was not attentive. We asked for tahdig about 3 times and the waitress reassured us that they were making it but finally, the other waitress came to say that they didn’t have any . They also don’t have ash reshteh on their menu which was quite disappointing. I called to make a complaint about the service but the manager was indifferent. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. Please do not go there! There are so many other Iranian restaurants in Montreal with great food and service such as Bonab Kabab or Quartier Perse.

I came here on a whim and I’m so glad I did. The food was soooo good, very good price and the restaurant is soooo beautiful inside. We ordered 1, 8 and 18 and I would order them all again. Cannot wait to go back

Disappointing Experience at Behesht Restaurant

Today, I visited the new location of Behesht Restaurant for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The food quality was terrible and far below my expectations. The meal was served cold, and both the kebab and rice had an unpleasant smell, making it difficult to enjoy the food.

Given this experience, I don’t think I will be returning. I had hoped for a much better dining experience, but sadly, it did not meet even the basic standards.

The food was very dry. I ordered the Joojeh, which is a chicken breast dish. The service was poor; there were no napkins or water, and the server just served us and left without checking in again. It definitely needs some improvement.

As a Brazilian, I’m a meat lover. And this restaurant is a truly gem - not only the ambiance, but also the food and personnel. The kebab torsh is superb !
