Another fantastic celebration at Behest. This is the best Iranian restaurant in Montreal. We just came back from a birthday dinner for my husband.The atmosphere is inviting and the presentation is great (plates are gorgeous) but the best part is the food. The beautifully seasoned, slowly cooked lamb shank is my favourite but everything is delicious at this place. My daughter is vegetarian and she loves all the options here. All meals start with a soup or salad and end with a cup of tea.The service was excellent and they didn’t charge us for the cake cutting or the tea to end our meal.I highly recommend this place!Vegetarian options: Many vegetarians options available, most have eggplant in them and are delicious.
Nice decor! The food is very good and served nicely on beautiful plates! The employee service is excellent! I really don't have anything negative to say at all! It's perfect!

Very rude and not professional. I called to reserve a table and was told to call back we called back and they kept on hanging up the phone in our face .

Small restaurant with nice decor. Waited about 20 minutes in line at a crammed entrance to get a table. I noticed some staff looking at us and others waiting, and there seemed to be this smugness attitude. When someone finally came for the table, they said it was about a 30-45 minute wait, but even then, they weren’t sure. Another restaurant received my money with their respect and good service.

Beef and Chicken Kabbab are good and a must try with herbal rice. 1st time we went there it was superb. Kishk beitenjan is quite tasty for an appetizer. 2nd time we were there 6 months later, however, the quality of food seems to have gone down significantly. The meat was not fresh, neither the chicken and tasted v ordinar. I will give it one more chance before I rule it out.
Tasty Persian cuisine with variety of Kebabs ? We tried family dish for four (Behesht) which had different kebabs, including Joojeh, Koobideh, Kebab Torsh, Kebab Chenjeh, and Chiken Koobideh. The food served with soup or salad, which I think soup is far better than the salad.For appetizer, we ordered Mast Khiar (basically yogurt with chopped cucumbers and garlic) and Kale Kabab (smoked eggplant with walnuts and pomegranate sauce) which is a dish from North of Iran, it was a bit different but tasty.Upon arrival they asked your number to text you when they have your seats ready which was a bit awkward and discomforting sharing my number. Also they don’t make reservations unless you’re more than 10 people.Overall it was a great experience for us.

An amazing restaurant serving authentic food that tastes very good and has good prices. The service is also outstanding, Parsa is a really good server and is amazing at his job.
The rating does not reflect the food quality but rather the management. It's important for them to understand that tipping is entirely optional and based on the customer's satisfaction with the service. When we reserved 30 seats a week in advance for 8:15 PM, we expect all 30 seats to be available at that time. It's frustrating to pay a tip when we aren't seated until around 9:10 PM. Their response to our refusal to tip was incredibly disrespectful and rude. This was my first and the last time going to this place.
The food was really tasty and unique and the quality was pretty good!The combos don't seem like the best deals, our side ordered 5 plates and the other side ordered a 5 person plate. They paid quite a bit more than us but only had a bit more food. They also only had one extra meat compared to us.That said, the food was excellent and I'm looking forward to coming back to try more dishes.Also the lentil soup was spectacular!

The Food is good is not the best but is good compare to the other Iranian restaurant in Montreal and the only star ⭐️ I give is only for the food but I reduced 4 star ⭐️ because of the bad service and very slow service that they offering specially the server that I saw him several times there and usually his the only server that I seen him often ,he is skinny and a little tall and he does not know what he is doing ,I asked him something he brought me something else and he is not polite and even when I came out from restaurant I saw 2 other clients were talking about the poor service and slow service that her and her canadien Freind experienced!!!!!!
