Super restaurant! Le meilleur Pho en ville.

Good pho soup, maybe missing some accompaniments for my taste, but the taste of the broth is good! The fried wontons were delicious!

I ordered a shrimp pad thai to go for $25 ($25 with 15% tip), and frankly, it was disappointing. The dish was poorly presented, the taste was not there, and there were too many carrots, which spoiled the balance of flavors. Plus, they didn't even put any utensils in the bag, which isn't very practical for a take-out meal. I don't think I would recommend here. I showed up at the restaurant, I didn't go through a platform.

We placed an order last night and for all the good reviews it was disappointing; the broth of the $17 wonton soup (only 4-5 wontons and lots of egg noodles) was very oily/thick and made me feel queasy last night and tonight when I reheated it, I even wonder if the ingredients were fresh.. and we didn't receive the spring rolls we ordered! On the other hand, the imperial rolls and dumplings were good. We would also have appreciated more sauce, there was only enough in the small traditional containers.

The owner of this place told me to give me 5 stars reviews if I really like it to this place. However, I have to be very honest here that I am very disappointed with the amount of lemon/lime and beans sprouts they would give to just one person even I asked for extras. I've been to lots of different places nearby even in the city where I live next to Montreal that they would serve you with lots of side dishes when I ask for extra they would give you lots of them too. The tendon meat where I mostly go to get Pho would've lots more for a large or XL size bowl.

I order a table d'hôte to take away which was supposed to come with soup... I take the trouble to ask the waitress if it is indeed the table d'hôte (because the package is light) to get the answer yes.
Once I got home, I didn't have the said soup!! It's frustrating to pay for something you didn't receive...

Disappointed with this cowardly service!

Ahh my first restaurant service job. A great boss, a small, close-knit team and a great clientele. Always a pleasure to return there to eat and savor their delicious dishes ?

My experience at Pho Ong Rau was exquisite. The food is delicious, the music is pleasant, the service is efficient and you leave feeling satisfied. I advise you to visit this wonderful establishment to taste the best Vietnamese dishes in the city.

First dinner on a long weekend trip to Montreal. Each dish was delicious and the staff was warm and welcoming - two entrees and two appetizers came out to $55, which was an amazing price for the flavors of the dishes. I recommend it to anyone in Montreal, no matter where you're from. Go now!!

I've been here for more than 10 times I guess? don't remember the number, just can't stop going again and again. The food is just too good. You should definitely try it.
