I chose this restaurant randomly on summer with a group of friends and what a surprise. It's a gem. The menu is great, prices reasonable, there's an option for all type of cravings and the staff is sooo lovely, they're too sweet and attentive.

I loved my experience and I'm glad to have discovered this place. Congratulations to the chef!

Slow service, small amount of foods for this amount of money. Chicken burger was very dry and tasteless. Would not recommend going here….

A great bistro style restaurant. Good value with a selection of dishes to suit a wide range of preferences. Relaxed and friendly.

We had a wonderful evening at Le Polisson. Jeremy was our server and was friendly, attentive but never made us feel rushed. We sat in the charming back area. The food and drinks were delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed.

The customer service was awesome! The food too was great! The braised beef was such a great meal that we enjoyed a lot. The burger was super filling.

Every meal that we ordered was such a banger!! The ladies were so elegant in their service. I would recommend this place for anyone who visits old Montreal.

The meal was so good, we had to take a couple of takeouts.

When next I am in the city, I would be stopping by for sure.

Food was not very good. We wondered why an old Montreal restaurant was empty on a Thursday night….now we know. Waiters were at our table to ask for our order every 3 minutes, we were just catching up, needed time but we were pressured to order. We ordered appetizers, we had not received the apps that waitress was in our face to order mains. Give us time! Then we got food….felt like what we could make at home, nothing was great , just boring meal. Will not come back.

This was our second visit! We stopped here our first night in Montreal. Travelling with my 83 year old mother who LOVES mussels. We shared a generous pot of mussels and a salad, and she had wine. We took some cheesecake to go which was divine. Liked it so much we popped in again last night. She had the mussels and wine again, and I had the fish tacos and an N/A beer. And again we took the cheesecake to go. Both time the staff was so friendly and attentive (but not overly so), and my mother wanted me to add that the staff was also quite cute!

Anyone who gives more than 1 star has no taste in food. I was disgusted by everything. We ordered fried calamari and it tasted like frozen fried calamari. It came with tartar sauce that tasted like it was store bought. Basically tasted like mayo. How do you mess up fried calamari?

Then my friend had the cacio e pepe gnocchi and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever smelled or seen. It was pooling of oil and cheese, to the point that you could pull the cheese with your fork. Anyone who has good taste in food knows thay cacio e pepe is far from that. Extremely disappointed.

I ordered the mussels and fries. It literally didn’t taste like anything. Not salted, didn’t taste the garlic or wine sauce. I was shocked that you could mess up something so simple. The fries were mediocre, nothing special.

Overall, my meal was 50$ and I’m never coming back here and suggest that no one goes here unless they change the quality of their food. It’s a rip off, I’m extremely disappointed. I would’ve enjoyed spending my 50$ at McDonalds instead.

There was also no one in the restaurant on a Friday night. Shocker…

A hidden gem in Old Montreal! The food is nice, though it is a slightly smaller menu compared to similar restaurants in the area. As the restaurant is featured in a hotel lobby, there are only a few tables which provides for excellent ambiance and noise levels, and allows for waiters to be very attentive. I recommend this spot!

Overall was very good, the smoky salmon is fabulous, but the braised beef is a bit too salty. The ponna cotta was really nice too, not too sweet, just the right flavor.

Good fish dinner: salmon and calamari as a starter, shrimp salad and fish & chips as mains. Everything very fresh, perhaps the fries a little too greasy, but the rest ok.

I got taken in by the relatively high Google reviews for this one. I should have turned around when I walked from a bustling evening street into an empty restaurant. The mussels were overcooked and in an over salted broth, like what you might try if Swiss Chalet offered moules et frites. The fries were done well though. Calamari was overbattered and rubbery. This is not a destination for seafood. Service was slow but friendly.
