A real find thanks to Evanvanyamtl on TikTok. The Mini wontons aux crevettes à la cantonaise soup was delicious, as was the Sago au lait de coco et mangue for dessert. The establishment is spotless. The service was excellent. Pinphyta is a short walk down Union Avenue from St. Catherine Street.
We had a fantastic time at this restaurant while visiting Montreal. The food was amazing definitely not your average dining experience, but something even better. Daniel served us and gave excellent recommendations from the menu, which made us come back for a second visit during our short trip. If you’re in Montreal and looking for a memorable meal, this is the place to go.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere — cozy and welcoming. service is excellent, clay pot rice is absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked rice and crispy bits at the bottom. The dumplings are also tasty and fresh. Highly recommend!
