One of my wife and I favourite restaurant. Everytime we go we splurge ourselves. The amazing bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil is to die for.The quantity is incredible.Super cozy place, ice cream parlor downstairs. And proper Gelato, not plain ice cream. With an amazing patisserie right next door. This place is amazing.

Go for the the gelato, not the service. When we went, the 3 people behind the counter were more occupied in closing up the place than they were serving us (and they were closing in 30 minutes).

One of the best italian restaurants in montreal! The lasagna is excellent!!! And they also sell delicious balsamic vinegar!

Love that they offer bread with a side of olive oil and balsamic vinegar to dip. Tried the calzone. Amazing! Would come back to try other italian staples in the future

This is the first I came to this restaurant. We were invited by someone who really likes this place. The restaurant is on the second floor. When I parked my car I thought it was closed. Went upstairs and realized that it was very much open. Once we ordered, it took very very long to get the food. It took over 1 hour to get our salads and soup. I had the veal in mushroom sauce. It was ok. It seems that it was the plate was being heated for a long time. I tried the pasta from someone in our party and it was much too al dante. I'm good with al Dante but the pasta should have been cooked just a little more. Someone in our party didn't finish their pasta cause it wasn't cooked well. For 2 salads, 2 veal meals, 1 soft drink, 2 desserts, total with tax was $96.01. In my opinion, seems a lot for the quality of the food. Not sure I would come back.

The restaurant (upstairs) was really warm and humid to the point of being uncomfortable. The olive oil is top notch, but personally, I felt the balsamic vinegar was too sweet. This was just my taste though. The service was a little cold, our waiter refused to smile despite a couple attempt at humor with him. Maybe I'm just not funny, who knows. The food was alright, nothing great but definitely not terrible. The fried calamari appetizer was cooked well. As a main, I ordered the pizza with the fresh bocconcini. The sauce was great, though the pizza was super cheesy and too much for my liking. The portions are huge and the price is good. Overall, ok restaurant.
