Restaurant Seingalt

Horrible attitude from the waitress when I complained how long it took to get served the main dish. (1h15 minutes). Arrogant and rude. She walked away when I spoke to her. I didn't even leave a tip and usually I am a generous tipper. I have been here many times but this is the last time.

Bistro Seingalt, ideally located near the Théâtre Maisonneuve, is perfect for a meal before or after a show. The food is excellent, with refined and well-balanced dishes, highlighting quality ingredients. The service is equally remarkable, with attentive and efficient staff, ideal for a carefree evening. If you are not a regular at the place, you will have a rather ordinary table, even if you reserve,

Even though we allow two hours for the meal, the service is rather ordinary.

As a starter, the snails were way overcooked, I'm not sure the cheese was calcined, however the soup was good. The steak was okay, nothing more, but the veal escalope was tough, and had nerves everywhere, a total failure.

We took this restaurant because it was in the same building as Place des Arts. there are so many good restaurants nearby at costs that sometimes are less for you to check out.

If I could leave more than 5 star review for the service, I would! Catherine was unbelievable and the ultimate example of EXCELLENT customer service. I wanted to treat my parents to dinner after a show they were seeing at PDA, for their 60th wedding anniversary, and wanted to treat them for dinner. Catherine worked with me to try to find a way that this could happen. She offered many different solutions and followed up at every turn. It was impressive!!! When my parents showed up at the restaurant, she treated them with white gloves and made sure their experience was memorable. THANK YOU Catherine for the unforgettable experience. Linda
