Ultimate Chinese comfort food in Monreal, perfect for poor international students. Started eating here in 2018 and didn't stop until I left montreal in 2022. I go here every time I feel bad and the food immediately cheers me up. Will remember this place forever.

Quality food at a very reasonable price
A true gem downtown. Very reasonably priced. I have been ordering a lunch to take out multiple times. The food is excellent! The personnel is nice and polite. I agree with all the positive reviews.
My favorite casual go to for northern chinese. I’m visiting from the US and I’ve come back here every trip. The staff are really funny and nice
Food is good but they have a bunch of TVs constantly broadcasting chinese state media propaganda which is very eerie

This is the place to go for tasty Chinese food at a great price. Good portions and the staff is friendly. Walking up that staircase is definitely worth it!

Kudos to Shi Tang. Been in Toronto for years but never find such classic and proper taste of Chinese food, no to mention the price! Will recommend it to my Chinese-taste fellas when they come to Montreal.
