Over 3 hours to be served our meal. Why did we wait? We were a large group (16ppl), had made reservations and were told after 2 hours, when 2 dinners were served, it would only be 15 minutes longer. It was an hour for the majority of meals to be served and I left due to it being 10pm. The service was mediocre to start and we were advised half the items were not available. The service progressively got worse as if we were an inconvenience. The only employee that remained consistent was the gentleman topping up water. He acknowledged everyone, smiled and did his job. Incredibly disappointed with this restaurant. Clearly they can handle couples as numerous people were served and left prior to us. As a group , do not go visit. Management needs to train their staff or at least be present.

Tropikal is the perfect vibe for any night of the week! I was looking for a delicious cocktail and good music on Sunday night and I found that and more at this wonderful location. The Éwé drink i ordered was the most delicious balance of Caribbean flavors and the oxtail tacos melted in my mouth. I also tasted the jerk chicken wings and they were perfectly seasoned and juicy . Thanks for the great food and vibes ! I will be back !

All the food was too salty. Thats all you taste, no other seasoning at all. I ordered the mac n cheese, ackee n salt fish fritters, griot plate and a side of plantain, even though it was already part of the griot plate, which they didn't mention. No gravy to go with the food so it was dry and the plantain was so overripe it was soggy and inedible. My friend sent her curried goat back as it was way too chewy. Told the hostess it was a birthday dinner and asked for a special dessert - she didn't even bring anything. Should not be allowed to describe it as Caribbean food, that's an insult.

The ambiance was ok, but I’d trade it for my stomach not to hurt so bad! We ordered the Ackee and salt fish fritters (I don’t know what that was). It was far from Ackee and salt fish fritters. I ordered the Rasta pasta with greasy fried shrimp which was terrible and my boyfriend ordered the jerk chicken and rice and peas which was also terrible. We ordered two drinks that took forever to come and it was terrible as well! I’m so sad because I was so excited to try this place ! What a true disappointment ! I think I have food poisoning! I couldn’t even make it out of the restaurant before bringing the food up! STAY AWAY!!!

Magnificent! I still love Russia! It's not that often that you get to drink blue champagne. I think I love the diversity in the condiments most. Each of the 10+ dishes of condiments were like a tiny salad in unto itself. You can see the glee in my partner's face when they delivered this massive assortment of treats. The fried, grilled, and baked goods made this a well rounded decadent feast. Don't miss your chance to visit RussiaIn Montréal.

I went to this restaurant last friday night because we've bought a coupon on Groupon. We've paid 60$ for all you can eat hot and cold entrees The cold ones all tasted the same, carrot with vinegar, potato with vinegar, fish with vinegar, .. you get the point. The hot entrees tasted like M&M frozen entrees dip in oil. Disgusting. The service is good. The waiter looked like he knew we were getting ripped off so he was very friendly with us. On top of the 60$ coupon we had to pay the taxes and the service was on the bill. A total of 90 dollars.... Like many other user, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant...

My boyfriend and I tried it with the Teambuy deal, but after taxes (on the original price of the meal) and tip (which they add to the bill without telling you), it came out to about 26$ per person. At that price it wasn't worth the type of food we got, but we enjoyed the atmosphere.
