Flavors a bit muted compared to regular Montreal Indian restos so some dishes can use a bit more boldness and depth but altogether very good. Food was clean and precise. Not overly oily. Richard was super helpful and polite. To those 2 or three reviewers out of many. Who claimed the food was chewy or undercooked: please stop lying on behalf of someone else. These are stews for the most part. I highly doubt a piece of meat slow cooking will be undercooked. To those reading reviews please realize what fake reviews are. This is a solid Indian place and feels more home cooked than anything. Not gastronomic genius but very very good in a pleasant atmosphere. Support decent restos people.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. That is not an issue at all.
By far the best place that serves high quality Indian food. Been there twice already and I have no doubt I’ll be back there again. The food is simply exquisite! Richard, the manager/superviser, offers a lovely service. Honestly, it’s a 10/10 spot. I’m already looking forward to going back :)
I absolutely loved everything I ordered! A variety of options to choose from and the food has the authentic Indian taste which is rare to find. Hands down the best Indian restaurant in Montréal!
Had a wonderful time, strongly recommend. Service was efficient, attentive and friendly. Food was delicious. It was a great experience, will definitely be back.
bouffe excellente, service extraordinaire avec Richard qui n'hésite pas a nous conseiller sur les quantités et le choix des plats.
Do not order vegan food from this restaurant, we ordered vegetable pakora which were raw inside, the karahi with tofu had absolutely no flavor in the tofu, Veggie Chicken Tikka Masala with Shiitake Mushrooms(this was ok) and the vegan dessert (Rice Zarda) which was nothing but sugar and rice. The description for dessert was "A sweet rice dessert with raisins and flavored with cardamom" I didn't find any rasin or any flavor of cardamom. I cannot say for the rest of the food here, I ordered vegan and it was the biggest disappointment ever. Waste of almost $70
When entering the restaurant, the waiter was setting up all tables. We sat down and waited. The waiter kept setting up the whole room without asking us whether we wanted something. The server kept setting up all tables (water glasses, utensils etc.) when, after a while, my friend asked whether we could order, the waiter said: let me finish this first. We waited more. I had to raise my voice to ask for a cappuccino (waiter was across the room) "The machine is broken," said the waiter. I ordered tea. At last, 10 minutes after we had arrived, we could order. The samosas were bland and looked as if they had been frozen. The curries were mediocre. Not once did the waiter check on us. When paying, (he did not charge for the tea) the waiter held out the card machine, clearly observing what tip I chose, thereby going against the "rule" that allows customers to add a tip in private. What terrible experience!
The food was great, the service was great and the ambiance is really nice. I loved every bite. The music was a little loud, especially for my friend who has hearing problems, but they turned it down for us which was really extra kind. Highly recommend.
"This is not how Indian food is done."We ordered quite a lot of food. The drinks were more like the "ready-mix" kinds which were neither good or refreshing. The biriyani felt more like Jeera rice with chicken curry. The chicken curry we had ordered was the main disappointment due to the lack of spices and flavours. Overall very disappointed as we had chosen this restaurant due to its high ratings.I give it two stars because of the staff who had waited for us after the closing. I really appreciate his commitment.
AMAZING! Lentil soup had just a bit of kick, and was great before the main course. The Lamb Korma wasn’t too hot (medium) and I’m usually a wimp when it comes to heat. The Naan was very light and tasty. Richard was a great host!

The best Indian restaurant in Montreal. I really hope the maintain this level of quality and service throughout… best wishes
My partner and I went for dinner after being in the area and picking a random spot to eat. We were initially very pleased with the atmosphere, and the food was delicious. The mango lassis were a perfect compliment to the food. I’m looking forward to going again.
Coming from Saskatchewan, I thought we had it good over there. After eating here, I can safely say that this place had exceeded my expectations and provided the best Indian food I had. The service was fast and amazing. Richard made sure we were comfortable and fed promptly. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
We were a group of four, a mom with 3 teens, including 2 hungry boys. The food was very tasty, and the medium spice level suited us just fine. We ordered 3 naans and 2 rice to accompany 3 meat and 2 veggie dishes that were shared, family style. We all agreed the gravies were rich in flavour. Would definitely return and recommend to others. Richard made us feel welcome with his friendly manner.
Had a wonderful time dining here tonight for my birthday! I wanted to try this place because I was visiting and love Indian food and was excited they had a seperate vegan menu. The mixed dahl was absolutely amazing and my partner really enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and naan (not vegan). Our server Richard was a delight and made our visit so lovely. Definitely give them a visit if you like Indian food and especially if you're vegan! I hope to be back to try the thali.
