I was ignored for about 5 minutes while standing at the front. There were no other customers and 3 staff behind the counter working. I finally ordered only after calling their attention to me. I was told they assumed I ordered and was waiting, which doesn’t make sense as no one ever acknowledged me or asked why I was there.
I ordered a smoothie and it was very bland - just blended fruit and tasted like it was watered down.

The female owner there is unhinged !She is disrespectful she told my 6 year old niece that wanted hot chocolate as a joke when she was taking her order and right away, she started getting defensive and yelled at my niece saying that if it’s not in the menu, then we don’t have it available in a serious tone….after that we ask how much it was for feve au lard on the side and she said 7$ ( SO EXPENSIVE )we politely and respectfully declined, and she will have the nerve to counter back: You people don’t have the money to pay 7$ for feve au lard !? that OK no problem!!! after she giving us this comment she walks away from our table ..All the reviews about her is true … funniest thing while we were eating she had a fight with a Uber driver and the Uber driver crashed out and started screaming and saying that she’s rude and left the store it’s so funny to go eat there It’s like comedic. I can’t believe they’re still restaurants that operates like that with her personality 🥴🥴🥴

Everything was very good except the cappucino, I thought it wasn't made with espresso but the owner said it was. Don't think he was telling the truth, because the worst espresso I have had doesn't look or taste like that and also because I saw a negative comment of someone I know and the owner was saying that he was an uber deliver guy who behave disrespectfully which is not truth, because M. Mouhoubi is a french teacher and is a very kind guy. Briefly, besides the coffee everything was ok.
do not come here!!! got a cup of coffee and no food resulting in being spoken down to being told to not show up if we aren’t going to buy food. Then MADE me pay 15% tip on top of an egregiously overpriced coffee. Other beautiful places with friendly staff down the street to go visit instead

This is my go to diner / breakfast place in NDG Montreal. I had a meal here today with my teenagers. Love everything about it. Proper food with the home cooked feel. Nostalgia in a bottle with the Elvis photos and pictures of trams running outside of the Snowdon theater (life before the Decarie). Love the characters of the owners, keeping it real. Thanks you.
