When you know that this place
is a non-profit org combating homelessness, it will all have a total new meaning for you. Add to that the fact that the menu is pretty interesting, with craft beers and wine.
Today the #jazzebo was playing some of their best jazz. I am told that there’s different entertainment bands all through the week! Great place after a nice stroll or active walk in #parclafontaine.

Once upon a time, in the green heart of Lafontaine Park in Montreal, there was a restaurant like no other: Robin des Bois¹. This magical place was known for its delicious dishes and its warm atmosphere, but also for its owner, a certain modern Robin Hood, who had swapped his bow and arrows for a chef's hat and a spatula.

One fine morning, as the sun rose slowly over the park, Robin Hood woke up with a crazy idea. He had noticed that the squirrels in the park were becoming more and more bold, stealing nuts and fruit from customers' tables. “It’s time to put this park in order,” he said to himself as he put on his apron.

Armed with his butterfly net and a few carrots as bait, Robin Hood set out on the hunt. The squirrels, clever and quick, made fun of him, jumping from branch to branch and dodging his clumsy attempts. But Robin, determined, did not let himself be discouraged.

Meanwhile, at the restaurant, customers watched the scene with amusement. The children laughed out loud as they saw Robin chasing the squirrels, while the adults savored their meals while enjoying the show. The deputy leader, a former circus acrobat, decided to join Robin in his quest. Together, they developed a plan worthy of the greatest stratagems.

They built a series of wacky traps: hazelnut catapults, carrot tunnels and even a mini-trampoline for squirrels. But the little rodents, ever more clever, thwarted each trap with disconcerting agility. Robin Hood, exhausted but hilarious, finally gave up the hunt and invited the squirrels to share a feast of nuts and fruit on the restaurant terrace.

The squirrels, delighted, accepted the invitation and became the official mascots of Robin Hood. Every day, they entertained customers with their acrobatics and antics, bringing a touch of magic and madness to this already unique place. And Robin Hood, as a good host, ensured that everyone, human or squirrel, left with a full stomach and a smile on their lips.

And so the Robin des Bois restaurant became famous not only for its delicious cuisine, but also for its incredible adventures and its furry inhabitants. END.

They made me a small latte and sold it for the price of a large. Amazing greed. The service is very slow, I will never come again.

Some days you have to pay for a “dj evening” ticket in order to buy food. +15$
No thanks :)

$15 for the smallest sandwich I’ve ever had.
My partner’s vegetarian sandwich was inedible.

Great coffee though.
Staff were very nice.

Musique beaucoup trop forte pour le plus beau Parc de Montréal… vraiment décevant et surpris qu’il n’y a aucun règlement à cet effet!
