Chicken too salty, just eating the whole chicken by itself not a good idea.

The chicken is delicious. We also enjoyed the rice and sides. We came here twice while on vacation in Montreal as it was close to our lodging. All the Portuguese chicken we’ve tried since has not been comparable to this place.

I liked their chicken. But. To be sincere. Down the same street you can find Ma Poule Mouillée, and it tastes better.

I went around 1:30 a.m. today for a bifana sandwich. The lady who made my sandwich was very generous thank you oh well my sandwich was perfectly delicious.

Had the bifana. Thought it was odd they didn't have mustard, but it was very good and didn't really need mustard anyway. Pastéis de nata was also very good. Friendly staff and quick service.
Chicken is delicious. Also tried their desserts (strawberry shortcake and egg tart), which were good also.Warning that the portion sizes are HUGE.

Good chicken ?I rarely eat meat, but I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the cooking and flavors of the chicken breast that I had. The fried chicken salad dish is simple and effective. The quantities are generous. Prices are correct.A good little place for grilled chicken!

This is the first time I've been there since it reopened. The bolas de belem were much too firm and the natas not as good as before. Damage.

I've been a customer at this place for quite some time, considering it a Montreal staple. Honestly, their chicken surpasses that of most Portuguese establishments, making it my preferred choice for takeout when we opt not to cook. On January 27th, my 12 year old son and I ordered 2 family chickens, along with rice and salad, specifying that we wanted the sauce on the side since not everyone in the family likes it. During the payment process, a young "Blonde" girl assisted me, and I inquired about having the sauce separately. She then checked with a colleague about the sauce on my chicken, even though I had already made it clear that it was not added. Anyway, usually, it's ready to go, but this time she mentioned having to prepare it, to which I agreed. As it was taking a while, I decided it was okay to leave without it. Unexpectedly, she became passive-aggressive, stating she was working on it. Despite assuring her it was okay, I overheard her using a derogatory term to describe me, with her colleague joining in laughter. I was infuriated but chose not to respond and simply walked away with my son and our bags. Her unprofessional behavior has left me appalled, and I have no intention of returning to this establishment.
