Overpriced for the quality served, nigiri had so much wasabi that you could not taste anything else, the signature rolls are blend, the ebi tempura was way too salty. Would not go back again..
Really disappointing sushi. Everything was way too salty, and the taste overall was far below average.
Definitely not worth the high price tag. You’re basically paying premium prices for subpar quality. Would not recommend.
Overpriced and simplified menu.
Sushi is off the hook. Hokkaido uni, wagyu, inventive rolls, everything incredibly fresh. Upscale but unpretentious. Friendly and patient waitstaff, chef made a special order grilled salmon dish for our 2 year-old.
Has a trendy vibe with loud music and low lighting. Fish is all pre-sliced and not cut per order. Fish quality was mediocre. Some inventive Maki rolls.
Fair selection of sake.
Attentive and hip staff.
The restaurant is dusty and needs a good and thorough cleaning.
Très bon accueil J'ai été très bien conseillé et le service était TOP Très bonne expérience. JO
Probably the best sushi we have eaten. The Nigeri and sashimi were excellent, fresh and wonderfully presented
Incredibly disappointing service. We were not checked on once. No opportunity to order another drink and our waters were never refilled.
We drove in from Ottawa and it did not disappoint. The sushi was excellent, the tuna melted in your mouth, I cut it to share using my chopstick! The peach flavoured sake was definitely worth the price. The server was friendly, chatty, helpful. Loved it!
The best "sushi" in Montreal, between tradition and inventiveness. The quality and freshness of the fish leaves you speechless, the sake menu is magnificent and very articulate, the Toro platter memorable (fatty tuna in several presentations) and the makis sometimes play with fantasy. In the end it's always magnificent, always a precious moment, and always just as ruinous because all of this has a price. But we always go back just as happy, so....

Sushi were very good. The sushi rice was not hot (seems rare to find these days)and fish very fresh. My drink was just good and I would def go back. For the quality I think the price was perfectly set.

I had heard a lot about Ryu, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I visited on a Tuesday night, and the ambiance was fantastic, especially for a weeknight. The food was outstanding—truly worth the reputation! A big thank you to our waitress, Tina, who made the experience unforgettable with her warm service and spot-on recommendations.

Excellent dishes prepared with open kitchen. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Perfect service with great recommendations. I could have eaten again and again because it was so good. Fair prices for the quality of the products.
