Just to list a few dishes we ordered: - Miso soup - Hamachi Jalapeño tataki - Wagyu dumplings - Lobster dumplings - Beef Short ribs - Sushi rolls: Mr Maguro, Paradise, Salmon Truffle, Hamachi Baby (just to name a few because we ordered twice)

We were at their other restaurant, Ryú Peel, 2 days ago and I must say that the food and the service there was much better although they have the same menu. At Ryú Griffintown It kind of feels like they are not in control of the restaurant with waiters constantly apologising for the food delay. The prices are pretty stiff with an overall very nice atmosphere.

First impressions , wow ! Beautiful establishment inside and their outdoor terasse. Overall the food is good , the 2 salads we got were nothing special but the wagyu dumplings a must , the salmon tartare excellent .
Rug Griffintown has amazing food. Wagyu tacos were good. Sushi was great. My only issue was the entertainer. The guy’s name is Charlie. He was kind of overwhelming. I liked the restaurant, but I don’t want to be bombarded with Charlie everytime I go there.

Everything was excellent! The sushi is fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The price is a bit on the higher side, but worth every dollar for the quality you get. Service is attentive and the beautiful terrace makes the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I'd recommend and return to!
