I tasted all the mini versions of their cakes, and there isn't one word good enough to describe the intensity of deliciousness I encountered eating them. It's been a while since I entered a bakery that smelled so sweet. Suddenly, I was the 5-year-old little girl inside my godmother's kitchen who used to bake amazing cakes, eagerly waiting to snack on a small piece, thinking no one would notice my little fingerprints in the frosting. Everything tasted authentic and absolutely amazing. Not too sweet, not too sour, with no single ingredient overpowering the others. It was just right. I highly recommend anyone with a sweet tooth to indulge themselves and try their pastries.I have tasted all the miniature versions of their cakes, and there is not a word good enough to describe the intensity of delight I encountered while eating them. Very good pastry, although the decor requires a little more care. A chandelier will be better than the small lamp on the ceiling.

They have a decent selection of sweets and some original takes on a variety of classic desserts.Where they surpass the competition is in their ability to make almost any cake in a gluten-free version (48h notice required). Most GF cakes I've had the unfortunate opportunity to try are either overly sweet or a disaster when it comes to consistency. Well not here... For anyone who is celiac, this is a great option. Although it's not cheap (85$ for a 10 ppl GF cake), it is a fair price to pay to not get sick.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free cakes available

We have ordered multiple cakes from Sachere, and every single one was a delicious mix of interesting, fresh flavors, excellent textures, and beautiful presentation. Their products are worth every penny and the track from the other side of town.

I am always on a quest to find the best (my own humble opinion) pastry shop in Montreal. After the closure of Patrice Patissier, I found Sachere Desserts and Chez Potiez to be one of the top in Montreal at the moment.I remember purchasing my first cake there- out of this world. The second time I ordered the same cake- it just felt like an old cake. Could be 1-2 days old maybe? I am assuming here because I don't know how long they keep their cake on display.Regardless, this doesn't stop me from coming back. This time, I am purchasing a lemon tart for a client and other pastries for myself. In hopes that it would be as memorial and decadent as the first time.UPDATE: I’ve now tried the pastries. DELICIOUS!!!Perfect texture, moist and not overly sweet.PS- Asians usually do not like overly sweet desserts. So this is a winner for me.

We went out of our way to try this place but we were very disappointed. The 2 stars is for the appearance of the cakes, everything else was unfortunately very underwhelming. We got the matcha cake and the Chai pear cake. Matcha one was full of cream which felt heavy and not pleasing to eat. The crust on the Chai pear one was throwing the taste off. They were so expensive, each 9.50$, but worst part is they were really not worth it.

i got the yuzu, olive oil and white chocolate cake for my best friend , and it was the perfect match for someone who loves citrus! the cake was so so so delicious and light ? someone was also there to help me all along and was so patient with my questions overall 10/10 and i cannot wait to come back to try more cake flavours!(fyi: when i visited, the lights were really dim , so it might be hard to take pictures in there)
