This might have been the single best sushi experience I have had in Montreal. The lunch combo I ordered came with miso soup, small salad, tempura, sashimi, nigiri, hoso and futo Maki's, green tea and ice cream.The miso soup was cloudly, perfectly hot and flavorful.The tempura included shrimp, zucchini, eggplant and sweet potato all expertly fried, light and had no greasiness to them at all.The sashimi was a good variety of tuna, salmon and snapper. All of which were fresh and clean tasting.The nigiri were very well prepared with perfectly seasoned rice and wasabi used in the perfect proportion.Rolls were varied and balanced with different textures and flavors.The meal was finished off with hot tea and green tea ice cream.The service was attentive but not overbearing. The meal was paced very well by the waiter and it was nice to feel so taken care of.Including a diet coke, all this was had for the incredible price of $34.49 including taxes.For the quality of the food and the experience, I cannot recommend Sakura enough.

Best Japanese authentic food in north America! My japanese husband is always amazed by the quality of the food (he's super picky and particular so that's high praise coming from him). The staff is super nice as well! I recommend the shabu set for 2 people and the sake miso udon. Amazing food!! We love you!

Delicious food and great service. Each course came really fast.We had the lunch specials that each came with miso soup, salad, tea, and ice cream for dessert and it was under 20$ each +tax. Great value for money!I got the bento box and it had 4 different things. So it’s great for people who can’t make up their mind.

I'm a Japanese-American from California. I like to try sukiyaki wherever I go and I'm picky about what's good. The sukiyaki here is about the best I've had since my mother passed. The broth is slightly sweet and that makes everything in it taste great. The tempura was excellent too. Try it!
