unwilling to do take out because usually take out does not contain the tips
Had takeout from this Korean restaurant, very satisfied. Friendly staff that always put up a smile.
I have went here before to have their beef tartare and bibimbap. Stunning as always.
Make sure to reserve or come earlier during weekends as the place can be packed.
I wish you could brought back the ayce bbq, it was one of the best ayce in montreal. Sadly cancelled after covid.
Cute place! I liked their Teobokki Rosé - it’s an interesting spin.
Amazing food and big portions.
Tiramisu cocktail is great.
a hidden gem!! my only regret is not trying more dishes. I'll definitely be back!!
Food
The Kim Chi was really good and a generous serving. 2 types on the plate and well enjoyed.
Bibimbap was ok.
Cocktails were yhe low point. Glasses are way too big so the drinks are too diluted. Just a bland drink. Also, i dont want a litre of soda in my cocktail. Didnt drink it.
Service.
Very friendly, but cocktails took close to 20 minutes to be served and were then really bad.
Other than raking order and serving meal never came to check on us.
Overall just ok.
A cozy family-style Korean restaurant. The bibimbap here is very authentic and tasty, according to both me and my friend who has lived in Korea for 2 years. And the price is reasonable.
Best Okonomiyaki I’ve ever had. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu.
Soondubu is flavorful- salty and spicy. Tteokbokki was chewy and slightly sweet and spicy. Good food!
if you’re planning to come around 5:30pm-7pm on the weekends, make sure to have a reservation or you can join the online queue and they will text you when your table is ready, it gets really busy—for good reason!
The soondubu jjigae is so flavourful,

The food was good but the average wait time for food is 45 mins every time I come…. Don’t understand what the 10 people in the kitchen is busy doing….?????
Super nice place! The food was good in general, especially for the price. The tteokbokki only tasted like black pepper though, but that was really the only down side!
I had the seafood pancake and the bulgogi bibimbap, personally, the food was more on the bland size. Portion was generous though👍🏻 There won't be a next time but it was not that negative for an experience.🙂
Delicioua and affordable korean restaurants. Even after so many years, they continue to provide one of the best and most flavorful soon dubu jigae in town.
The only downside is that you smell like food after since the kitchen is right next to the dining space and there’s korean BBQ on tables without a proper vent on top.
Are you kidding me Samcha took such a dip in quality after revamping their menu. Their menu is now a basic korean menu just like every other korean restaurant in montreal. You would think it’s at least good even if they revamped it but no the quality has gone down as well. I asked for extra kimchi and that was some of the worst kimchi I ate. It was bland and tasted frozen. Bring back the bbq!!
