For 5.99 you can NOT find a better banh mi. You could see the love and attention the owners put into their food it tasted amazing. This will be a go-to for when I'm in Montreal.

Me and my boyfriend went here in January and the sandwiches were great, the owners were very sweet and kind and even gave us some freebies :)! Amazing store!

THE BEST. You have to pay cash and you have to wait, and the opening hours are very limited. None of this matters because the sandwiches are everything. And affordable for those of us on a tight budget. MERCI!

Really good sandwiches. I ordered 4, and the guy threw in a bunch of free snacks. The best thing I've tried by far is the Asian chicken sandwich.

Good portion and super delicious all at a very good price 10/10, my only point is that it only takes cash but it doesn't matter you can have a good lunch for less than $5 :)

A must-see in the neighborhood. Great choice for your next lunch with family or company on a budget. The boss always offers bonuses as loyalty points.

Super good sandwich we all love them, really good no matter what you take however I would eat it more often for dinner especially in the summer it would be great if it could be open for dinner around noon in my opinion it would make more of $$ otherwise I have nothing to complain about everything is perfect ?

Go get yourself a sandwich or two here, it's amazing. The ingredients are fresh, the bread comes out of the oven, the homemade cookies are worth it, and everything for a price that cannot be compared. Bring cash!

Quite simply the best sandwiches in town, especially if you order them “all dressed”. The prices are really reasonable considering the quality. Worth the 5 minute wait for the careful preparation.

By far the cheapest sandwich in the area, starting at $4.00 or even 3 for $11. The bread is made in house, the baguettes are delicious and a good size. The tout-garnie jambon and fromage is loaded with ingredients, a super deal compared to if you were to get all the ingredients from the store. There's a lot of options, homebaked cookies, drinks, salads and more. The two that are always working there are kind and give good service.

This little Vietnamese sandwich shop is a well-kept secret in Hochelaga. For 11 years I walked past without ever suspecting the little treasure I had before my eyes. It was only after stumbling across online reviews that I realized I had been depriving myself of the best sandwiches in the neighborhood all this time. It's now been 10 days since I first entered this friendly little business owned by a very nice Vietnamese couple. I have been back two more times since. There is a wide variety of breads baked on site that we can choose from for our sandwiches which are all well stocked with fresh meats and/or vegetables at exceptionally low prices. I have never been disappointed. It's a bit outrageous that the Subway located three addresses west attracts more customers.Note that several dessert and drink options are also offered, as well as some grocery items, including Ramen. And only cash is accepted as payment. Please note, opening hours are now from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. from Tuesday to Sunday. The photos accompanying this review were taken in October 2023.
