LOVE! Completely celiac safe restaurant and everything we ordered tasted amazeballs!! We ordered the calamari &mushroom appetizer then for dinner we had the chicken and the beef Stu. A little pricey but definitely delicious! Make sure to call for a reservation on the weekend!

My experience last night was so bad at satu lagi which is disappointing because I’ve been here before and the food was amazing! I chose to come again because my first time was great and yesterday was my birthday and I wanted a nice dinner to celebrate. We started with the sambal combo the tempeh satay and the jamur jamur and all of it tasted a bit weird and old especially the jamur jamur, it was like it was previously fried and left to the side all day then fried again. It was soaked in oil and just did not taste fresh. We decided to send everything back because I was honestly scared to get sick… the bartender was nice enough to do so but said the waitress which was in charge needed to come chat with us. After 20 or so minutes of waiting the waitress turned to me and said she would be there soon to talk, she then proceeded to do so many things and I just wanted to leave to have to possibly to go somewhere else as it was my birthday. She never came… I had to call back the bartender and explain the situation and she proceeded to let me leave. She was the only good part of the night. Everything else fell short and we weren’t able to go to any other restaurant… the three we tried after were all doing the last call. Very disappointed night sadly.

Came here for brunch. Friendly and accommodating staff. Cute decor, great music (never thought I'd hear Just Jack at a resto again haha).
I had the Malaysian main and it was delicious. Their iced Indonesian coffee was smooth.

Food was decent, got a little taste of everything. The chicken with hot sauce was fantastic, a great combination.
The meat in rendang was too shredded for my liking despite the strong taste of lemongrass and rendang flavor.
The vegetable was slightly underwhelming. This is probably due to the lack of wok fire.
The crème brûlée texture wasn’t quite right, it was a little curdy. However, the taste was good.
Overall, a restaurant that provides a unique experience for Indonesian Malaysian food.

Food was delicious - spiced well, aromatic, and even visually appealing! We’re a group of 10 and had the group tasting menu which was a LOT of food and fun, haha!
The food is fusion which makes it more interesting for me and my friends. Some people might like that, but the purists might have a different opinion. It was a busy night when we came and our server struggled a few times to check on us (but she was nice and friendly), so it’s ok. We’re understanding people and know how challenging it is to work in the restaurant industry. Overall a great vibe!
Highly recommended and we will be back!

Incredible cuisine ! I never write any reviews on Google but Sagu Lagis deserved a 5 star on every level.
For Cocktails i advise the Pan Dan Rice, trust me you you have never tasted something like that before.

The food is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was so flavourful and well prepared, and the courses were perfectly spaced out.
Starters: highly recommend the tempeh & beef skewers, the fried mushrooms, and the tofu.
Mains: the rendang and the green beans are a must. The sauce that the clam stir fry was prepared in is also superb. You have to get rice on the side (both types are great but the turmeric one is fantastic).
Special mention for the pandan crème brûlée (still thinking about a day later) & chili mutiara drink (fresh and perfect for the summer).
Service is fast and attentive, and the staff is all very warm and welcoming. The ambiance feels elevated without being overbearing, and the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and warmly lit.
Perfect place for a small group to share plates & grab drinks. Book in advance and ask for a table by the window in the summer, booth indoors in the winter. Their terrasse is also lovely too if you’re lucky to catch it in the warmer months.

The food was incredible! The blend of flavours was truly exquisite brought me back to my time in Malaysia! Wonderful cocktails full of flavours that I never would imagined in drink form. The service was magnificent and hasty and a special shoutout to Kim for preparing the drinks efficiently and beautifully. The atmosphere was truly terrific and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for innovative asian cuisine. Thank you so much Satu Lagi, this experience was wonderful!
Everything was simply amazing. The food, the service, the drinks, the vibe... Especially the bartender, Kim, made us incredible drinks. Can't wait to go again!

I came here with my husband for dinner and we ordered the rendang and kangkong belacan—both were delicious and full of flavour. The service was attentive and we enjoyed sitting outside. The only small thing I’d point out is the sambal. As an Indonesian, I found it very mild compared to what I’m used to back home. It still tasted great, but I missed that extra kick of spice. Overall though, a wonderful dining experience and we’d be happy to return.
