ok so its obvious there was a big change. After having the same cook make my plates for a few years,suddenly he was not there and never to be seen since. I had a concern that things wouldnt be the same. It took 2 visits to decide that things werent the same. Size of chicken portion changed. Flavor of rice changed. Fries changed. Jerk sauce changed. I am using the word changed because nothing was bad but not what I was expecting or used to. I used to be a once-a-weeker, cant say that anymore.

Wondefud vibe this place brings from three islands: Jamaica, Haiti, and Montreal. Tried the Jerk Pork with a poutine on the side to make it a true local thing: it was quite good quality home cooking, wonderfully tender meat, very flavourful Jerk sauce that builds its spice slowly as you eat, and the poutine was perfect. So happy these people are close to home, and definitely returning for the griot and the oxtail. Big thumbs up.

Went in to order food & wasn't greeted even after waiting for 5mins. Cook was being rude to another customer. I then see him wiping his sweat with his bare hands, then continues to cook & that too without a hairnet. Walked out without ordering.

That was delicious I got the ox-tail with rice The meat was falling off the bone - slow cooked for hours The rice was perfectly seasoned The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly Definitely recommend - will be back Best Jamaican food in Montreal
