Second Cup

This is the only branch I’ve visited that felt dishonest. The girl at the counter told me I was getting a regular filtered coffee, but it was not. Instead, they just added hot water to a coffee concentrate. That is not the same as brewed filtered coffee, and it feels like cheating. Very disappointed in the lack of honesty. I won’t be coming back to this location.

Extremely disappointed with my visit. I ordered filter coffee, and they served me a single shot with hot water, claiming it was filter coffee. The quality was terrible, and they were blatantly dishonest about it. The place also smelled like onion and food, making it impossible to enjoy coffee. I will never come here again and definitely won’t recommend it!”

I usually love Second Cup but this location is a major miss. The service was awful - two unfriendly baristas took my order, seemingly inconvenienced by the fact that a customer would come in to order a coffee. The coffee was lukewarm and I was instructed to move away from the milk counter, because I was "on the wrong side" even though there was no indication of there being a right or wrong side. Unpleasant experience overall.

We got lucky and were able to sit right up front so we got to enjoy our coffee and snack while watching people walk by.
This is a very busy corner, it was nice to slow down and warm up for a while!
This Second Cup is huge, there were many people either on their computers or just reading a book.
The noise level was very low for such a busy and large coffee shop.
Coffee is always good at this chain!
Their baked goods were super fresh and well priced.

I very disappointed that this Second Cup never has the biscotti and the freshii energy balls. They only serve pastries and sandwiches. Why wouldn't they serve the same things as all other branches?

Shocking attitude of staff, giving the wrong drink and insisting it's right and eventually begrudgingly changing it to the right one. Plus the flat white had far too much milk in it. Nice muffin though, just a shame the staff are rude.

It’s a great spot in downtown to finish some work on your IPad or laptop! Cleanliness of the tables can be improved.

The bathroom is absolutely horrendous in terms of sanitation and cleanliness. I came here to get work done but the thought of having to use the bathroom stresses me out because it’s just that gross 😷😷

Once i had worse coffee...but only one. Ever.

I ordered Americano...and they poured me drip...they were already poured by the time i noticed. shame on me for not correcting but i was trying to be accommodating.

Anyways. The coffee is horrible. So burnt. Save yourself the experience.
