I’ve been here so many times as it’s such a fun place to bring visiting family and friends. We always get the tasting menu, as it’s a good diversity and amount of food, and is such an easy decision! They’re accommodating to dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegetarian, vegan), which also makes it a great choice for groups. The seating areas are divided into smaller rooms, so it’s never too loud. The terrace is really beautiful in the summer. Everything is delicious. I love the soup and pandan crème brûlée in particular. Everything feels fresh, so you don’t feel overstuffed afterwards. There’s a local wine shop across the street where we get our drinks, since it’s BYOW. But I always get the homemade ginger ale too! The service is attentive, quick, and kind.

Wooww wooww! It's Sep Laii Laiiii! This place made me fall in love with Lao food
Having tried Laotian food in Toronto, I was looking forward to this place. I didn't read the 3 star reviews which often are honest reviews before booking the reservation. My mistake. Only one server for the the whole place. some dishes came out tasting uncooked, not one dish wowed, had the $55/person tasting menu. Expensive for what you get.

Update: The first time I absolutely loved everything I ate and gave 5 stars but recently I went back expecting the same experience I had i. the last visit. However this time everything we ordered was quite salty. Not sure if they changed the menu or we ordered different plates but I was a bit disappointed🥹 My friends seemed to be enjoying their meals.

Really good food and such a cute place! The only downside was that the wait between each service was quite long (from getting our menus, to between courses, and even waiting a long while to pay) which felt a bit frustrating at times. That said, our server was really nice, and overall I would recommend and would go back!
