The plates I tried were very good, the portions generous, a bit expensive but as expected for the quality.
The place is noisy when there are a lot of people, big windows concrete walls it is not surprising.
The waiters are nice, doing a good job.

Really good vegan selection, I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. Beware that the music was loud and we could barely hear each other. Also the service was cold and unwelcoming. FYI overall mixed feelings, but the food carries.

Very nice spot. Tried the ramen and a specialty sushi roll. The roll was very good, especially the truffle sauce it was served with.
Both the traditional pork ramen and duck ramen were delicious. The duck was cooked perfectly. The soft boiled eggs were just right.
Not a super kid friendly vibe but they do have a high chair and change table.

This restaurant is now part of the restaurant next door, so please note that they also offer a non-vegan menu if you require it (my partner isn't vegan so this worked out well for us!)
The options are lovely, their sushi is tasty and fun (we got the geisha and the sushi pizza, both delicious). And we got the mushroom broth hotpot. Very cute presentation and the brother was delicious, as were the veggies/tofu/noodles they provided.
The atmosphere is fun and trendy and the staff was kind and attentive.

I loved my hot pot experience, made me feel like back in Taiwan. The sushis and drinks were excellent as well. The only weird thing is that they now share the same seating area as the restaurant next door so you are seating with people eating meat, but they have a full vegan menu and a separated vegan kitchen (confirmed by the waitress). Not sure how long it will stay like this, but the Shushu haru seating area was small, so now they are sharing a bigger space with the restaurant next door. Anyhow, if that doesn’t bother you, I definitely recommend going as vegan hot pot are rare in Montreal.

Wanted to order a tray for my birthday party- when I called, the lady said to call back the next day during lunch time. Very congenial, good communication. Today noon, when I called back, it was closed. When I tried it again in the evening, the call didn’t even go through. I tried it again, same thing. What’s your problem..? Why not just say that you don’t offer that service anymore? It’s sad that places like this don’t take you seriously.. very disappointing.
If you want to order a pick up for a party, you should try Ohana instead. I’ve been with them twice, and no ridiculous trouble that I had to experience with shushu.
