Delicious fish and chips and a great choice of local beers.

We had a pretty good experience that was ruined very quickly when our waiter (Quebecois guy with the buzzcut) scolded me for not tipping. I’m a student and only ordered 2 drinks, the service wasn’t that exceptional either. If you were trying to get anything extra from me, you just lost me as a customer by doing that. Tips are optional and not everyone can afford them. It’s not my job to put my budget on the line to supplement your salary, and saying it to my face, let alone looking at the register to see whether or not I tipped is a big no and should be heavily sanctioned in the service industry. Really left a sour taste in our mouths and messed with the rest of our night. Won’t return.

Fish and chips - le meilleur à l’est de Terre Neuve 🤤 belle sélection de bières. Serveur attentif et efficace.
Great beer, food is a little too pricey.

No Guinness… DOOM ‼️😒
Very nice atmosphere on a cold Saturday. Well animated!
We went there late pm on a Saturday. The food was delicious. Decent beer, nothing more.
The service was perfect at the beginning then it got worse as the evening progressed, despite the presence of a lot of staff. It became very slow. Between the time of our last drink/food, we waited around 45 minutes where no one came to see us!
For about 4 hours, it was the same style of music, it became not very pleasant!

Service here is slow as a snail. Like, look around once in a while guys; did you serve the table you sat 15 minutes ago? No? Oh well then, take your time…

Located in a very nice area, the place is friendly but remains a little expensive.
The big plus are the events organized like Laughter Wednesdays in November.
We ordered the fish and chips, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The breadcrumbs were overly thick and excessively salty (and the fries were salty too), making it difficult to finish even half of our plates.

Nice place to have beers! Food ok without further ado!
Good beers on tap and a decent atmosphere. Afternoon beers on the outdoor patio are great thanks to sub exposure. Even on off days there are enough people to make it lively. Snacks are a bit expensive for what they are though
