Great outdoor patio for those cold but sunny days. Limited food menu, large beer sizes.

Big pub, and a nice round-the table bar, suitable for going solo or in groups. The down part was that the two (not-busy) barmaids completely ignored me for a good 10-15 minutes, until after 7:05 when the happy hour finished. Apparently happy hour (5-7pm) is when you get two drinks for one! and I didn’t even know that. I wanted to take only one drink and leave! Cause I was meeting friends afterwards for dinner, and I had half an hour to kill, so decided to have a quick drink and discover the place at the same time. The ignorance was discouraging! Even if somebody was there to use the opportunity of the happy hour offer, that was very disrespectful!

Came in for a quick drink of the patio. You have to spend 6CAD pp if you are dining outside. Honestly not sure how you would want to sit inside because it was very dark and smelled odd. The other downside on the patio seating is that the tables are so close together, that you are SQUEEZING back to back with people behind youI had ordered an espresso martini bc I’ve had nothing but great ones in Montreal…needless to say the one I had gotten was just really off (not sure if it was bad coffee or what). But I had to send it back, and replace with another drink (White Russian) which was also just ok.The waitress seemed nice but wasn’t really attentive. I was very appreciative that she didn’t push back on me sending back the drink, but only come here if you have time to wait.

We went there at st pats brunch and it was GOOOOOD. Like easily one of the best brunches ive ever had. the atmosphere where we sat was good, staff was kind and helpful but mostly patient with us, clean bathrooms, a little small for pur group of 10 people but we had a lot of light. I wish i could give 4.8 just for the price, which i think could have been cheaper by just a few bucks. Again, i truly recommand. Still worth it

You know all the worst parts of a bar ? Yeah that’s pretty much it, DISGUSTING bathrooms even at the start of the evening (8pm), incredible sticky floors, was somehow more complicated to order a bottle than a few beers??? Overall not a great experienceNot coming back <3

If you are thinking of holding a 100+ event here, I do not recommend you do so. Unfortunately, they do not have the staff to pull this off. The bar service was very slow; they had one 1 person on one side, and 1 person on the other, serving 130 people. The queues were so long, our guests gave up and didn’t use their drink coupons. There was also a bit of nonsense with the drink choices: you couldn't get a shooter of tequila with a ticket, but you could get a cocktail with a shot of tequila in it. Also, very poor beer choices available. The attendees waited in line for 15 minutes prior to 19:00 and ended up being told at the bar that happy hour was over. In addition, rolling out the food was so slow; people were waiting in line for more than 15 min in order to get any food. Then, around 10 people would get served, they would run out of food, and again guests had to wait another 10 -15 min, over and over again. There was always a queue. The on-site manager was very nice, but without the staff or infrastructure, it was impossible to host a successful event. We told them in advanced how many people were attending and agreed upon the structure of the event (drink coupons and food) and yet, they couldn’t fulfill this. For the price we paid and the execution, we are highly disappointed and dissatisfied. Please think twice before you book your event there. (Event for McGill University)Vegetarian options: They were very good but the service was slow, slow, slow. Only one person to serve 130 people?????

Good atmosphere. The food is generally delicious. I was worried that the food would come out late, but it came out quickly. The staff are also friendly.
