They always serve rice and today I got my meals with no rice and the woman on the phone claimed that the rice was discontinued 2 yrs ago while I was just there 2 weeks ago and I ordered 1 month ago.

Update 5 years later: We kept ordering sporadically from Soba, but unfortunately the quality has gone down over the years and the price has gone up. Our most recent take out order was for over 100$ worth of sushi and more than half of them were just filled with tempura batter and a a bit of fish. Recent picture added. Really disappointing because this used to be one of my favorite spots.
Pros: Very good quality sushi. Very reasonable prices. Offers many choices and meals other than sushi. Quick service. Offers delivery at no extra charge.
Cons: The restaurant is a little small.
We've never eaten physically in the restaurant and have always ordered our meals to go. The sushi is always fresh and they don't overkill it with rice, but find a good balance with the other ingredients. We will definitely be ordering here in the future as well.

Food is great. I give as few stars as a can to restaurants that play games. If you have to raise your prices, fine. Times are tough. When you raise the price of your combo meal by 60% and cut the quantity of it by 40% I feel you're being deceptive.

We’ve been ordering for many years from SOBA but something has changed. Last Sunday we ordered sushi and when we hit home & opened it, we could see it was not the same as always. Half of the maki rolls were open (loosely closed) so it was more like eating a “sushi salad”. We even called the restaurant just to let them know … perhaps they had a new chef?? They just said “thanks we’ll let them know in the kitchen”. That would not have been so bad, but I was violently ill that night. All night. My husband also “didn’t feel great”. Sorry but not ordering from there any more. Something “not right” in the kitchen.

First time here, a surprise! I chose “Combo 6”. Good food and good flavors, lots of vegetables and avocados.

Got the tao combo for 2, everything was pretty decent except the wonton soup and peanut butter dumplings. The soup broth was basically hot water with no flavor and the dumpling skins were massive compared to the filling. The sauce for the peanut butter dumplings had almost no peanut flavor and the dumplings had the same problems as the wonton soup. The other items were decent.
Honestly my number changed and they waited outside for 20 minutes , really appreciate the patience !
