Their sourdough breads have amazing flavour.
Being from France makes it difficult to find comparable bread in Montreal.
These guys have nailed it. Probably some of the best textured and flavoured sourdough bread I’ve had in Montreal, & tastes better than most of the sourdough I’ve had in France.
Crispy outer shell with a nice fluffy bounce.?
Service was really good too.

Got the last loaf of bread (4 grains) and it was amazing! Can’t wait to go back and try different types

The brioches are so delicious when they come out of the oven that Rimbaud would have run out of words to extol their virtues.
By far the best in Montreal, it feels like Sweden.

The bread is good but the hours of this bakery do not allow you to go there often. Perhaps they need to be revisited.

A limited but delectable selection of bread and cakes. The walnut bread is amazing as are the other broads. The 4 grain bread rolls or brotchen are the probably the only real German breakfast rolls you will find in the city. With fresh butter and a good "schinken" or "lax" you are all set for an amazing "butterbrot". Do try out their poppy seed and lemon cake, which can easily become my Saturday treat!! I hope this bakery does well and grows...

Absolutely divine. Small bakery but with such great products, they have different varieties of sourdough bread loaves, to die for, just amazing. I can't wait to try their foccacia and different healthy treats ! The staff is super friendly and respectful. You couldn't ask for better.

Simple bakery but limited options.
Great products, dedicated owners. A golden alternative to the defunct Fromentier on rue Laurier, this time in the West of the Plateau. Run there early! Demand is strong.

I’ve tried focaccia all over the world, and the asparagus goat cheese one here is bar none the best focaccia I’ve ever had the joy of eating. The cardamom pastry doesn’t skimp on the spice for all cardamom lovers out there! Although I haven’t tried everything, from what I’ve tasted, it seems you really can’t go wrong choosing any food item here.
Most impressive establishment I’ve come across in Montreal thus far.

So fortunate to have this bakery in my neighbourhood. I’ve tried most of the breads and the focaccia “grandma slice”. All delicious. My favourite bread is the “4
Grains”. Adjust to the opening hours….. opens at 10h00 and closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Worth a detour
