The fried chicken was amazing but it tastes like regular Korean chicken in my opinion. This place would’ve been good if it wasn’t for the tteokbokki. Very expensive compared to the amount of rice cakes in it. Korean mom was shocked by the size. Very small and only a lot of soup. Tastes good, just expensive and small portion size for tteokbokki.

I love this place. I had been here before and was surprised to see that some people have complained about portion sizes before because I knew there was no way we were going to finish everything when the food started arriving. I've had Korean food in quite a few places in Montreal and I could tell that this was like homecooking the moment I started eating my kimchi stew. Absolutely divine. Even my kids liked it. The seafood/kimchi pancake was nice and thick and very flavorful. It's easy to overcook seafood but that wasn't the case here, everything was cooked just right. The fried chicken was cooked to perfection and the whole chicken was a lot even for 4 of us. I haven't seen portions this big in Montreal restaurants so again, I'm puzzled by some of the previous reviews. We took some time to talk with the waiter and it's a family-owned restaurant. I guess that's why everything felt so comforting on a foggy, rainy night; the parents were in the back cooking away. I really can't overstate how much we enjoyed this meal. 감사합니다!

Food is expensive than average, and Service was bad. I dined alone, and he didn't serve the side dishes. When I pressed the call button, he didn't even come to my table, just stand behind the counter and yelled: Yes? Table was sticky because of the grease, they should really do some cleaning job, and hire a real waiter.

When we paid in cash, he didn't provide a receipt, and after taking our money, he didn't give us change. The prices were on the high side, more expensive than what I've eaten at DT. The seafood pancakes were good, but the fried chicken was small. The half portion of fried chicken for $27 was only a small plate. The seafood soup for $32 didn't match the picture and was overly MSG-laden. We won't be going back.
