One of my favourites. Every dish is exceptional and the owner always greets you with a warm smile and makes you feel at home.

Every dish was fantastic. Some of my friends I could tell were skeptical having never been to a tapas restaurant preciously. The owner came out and assisted with the menu. Every dish was fantastic. I have serious shellfish allergies and was told what to avoid etc. The service was as phenomenal as the food. One of the ladies spilt on her blouse, before we knew it there was a "tide to go" on our table. Highly recommend and the location was great also.

We had a wonderful visit to Sorocco! The staff was attentive, eager to give recommendations, and clearly cared about the experience of their guests. Our food was outstanding. The short ribs poutine was flavorful. The tomato salad a must-have. Highly recommended.

This was a great find. The food is amazing, and so is the ambience. Try the scotch eggs, the beet salad... actually everything was great. Definitely coming back.

Unbelievable experience. We were served incredible food, with excellent suggestions, by the owner himself! Inexpensive Moroccan and Scottish cuisine? Yes please! This was so good, the interesting food, the nice little place, the food! The Buffalo Cauliflower and sliders were superb, highly, highly recommend Sorocco!

I worked in hospitality for many years - and I’ve never been so misled by a posting. This restaurant had nothing redeeming. We went out of our way to eat here based on these recommendations, and I promise you nothing was good. I don’t want anyone to make the same mistake. It was bad. All versions of French fries over and over. Don’t go.

Price is reasonable and food is good. Nice interior design and service is wonderful. High end without the Uber expensive tag. I suggest going here on a date

Came here for a celebration dinner and loved it! No wait for two people at about 7pm on a Friday night. We tried a ton of stuff (the waiter even warned us it was maybe too much food) and everything was tasty. - Tomato salad with blue cheese and chickpeas - exactly that. I like all of those things so it was good and simple. - Ham croquettes - creamy and smoky. - Short rib with kimchi - super tasty and came with toast to eat it on. - Scallops - came with bacon on a pea (and watercress I think?) puree. Great flavors and different from most scallop preparations I've had. - Scotch Egg - comes with two halves and pickled veggies. Probably the best scotch egg I've had because the yolk was soft boiled and the meat wasn't dried out. - Calamari - Big pieces with chilli sauce. Standard, can't go wrong. - Cauliflower - Cauliflower was just a big soggy, but it was very tasty. - Saltine crackers with caramel and chocolate - Good, although you can definitely make it at home. We were hoping to try the churros that I've seen so many pictures of on Yelp, but unfortunately they weren't available. I will say that after we ate all that (with a bottle of wine) we weren't *super* full - portions are small, but that's expected for tapas. Ambiance is dark and intimate, server was nice/helpful and went through the favorites with us, crowd is a bit older than many places in the Plateau. All in all a great experience!

Great! Comfortable, space between the ranger but also the benches are wider and the arm stands up so we can stick in love! 18 years + so no children and you can even have a drink .. Only problem? only 2 rooms and not all the films presented there .. And as we get used to this beautiful luxury the cinema of Chicoutimi tempts us less hihi

I really enjoyed my experience at Sorocco. The food and service was great. Ask them how they got their name.
