Great selection of cocktails. The only place I know that has the Trinidad Sour. Love the oyster deal. Great food, friendly service. Was able to make a last minute V-Day reservation. Sparrow's still going strong after all these years.
Great service, solid food and phenomenal prices. Will definitely be back. Excited to see what they're going to do with the upstairs space as well

My first time to this Resto Bar. I liked the low key neighborhood type of place. Small tables for 2 and 1 or 2 larger, and the bar. We were seated st a small round table for 2-3. Calamari were crispy and enjoyable, and the Sparrow burger (I think) was nice. The service was pleasant. I'd go back again and even alone at the bar. Not too loud or pretentious.
Best brunch in Montreal! Service is outstanding, and food is absolutely delicious! If you haven't been, run! I love this place!
Don't go there.

I love this little bar so much! Good vibes and all but when I ordered a “large ceaser salad” and then added chicken to it (for an additional $7) the salad came alone, then a small brochette or 3 ish pieces of chicken arrived right after for me to mix into the salad. I just found it unacceptable due to the price of the bare salad and then the small brochette of chicken. Would avoid that if you eat there.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I honestly couldn’t understand why this place is so highly rated. The service was fine, but the food was really inconsistent. Between the four of us, it was hit or miss (mostly miss for 3/4 of us) — one friend enjoyed her cilbir, but another’s “crispy” French toast was mushy. The homemade fries that came with both my plate and another friend’s sage eggs were cold and mushy, and tasted like they’d been sitting out, and her egg was burnt. Overall, everything felt a bit pre-prepared rather than freshly made — disappointing for the price.

The service here is consistently awful, which is frustrating because the food itself is actually good. I gave this place four chances, but the experience only got worse each time. Sadly, I won’t be back. The service staff’s behavior feels disrespectful—not just to customers, but also to the cooks who clearly care about the food.

Excellent brunch avec spécialités turques. Les plats sont simplement délicieux et mon invitée a reçu une attention toute spéciale pour son anniversaire: un délicieux dessert avec chandelle! Une attention très appréciée...

Best shakshuka I’ve had in Montreal. Incredibly tasty merguez and fragrant tomato sauce. Lovely service and atmosphere. A definite brunch gem!
