I had a horrible experience at Stem Bar. When my boyfriend and I arrived, the hostess sat us at the bar. I asked if we could sit at a regular table since there were many available, but she refused, saying they were “reserved.” I asked if we could wait for one to open up , she said no, that we had to stand at the entrance if we didn’t want the bar.
We ordered six dishes and a drink but received only the drink and two plates. Then two girls arrived and sat beside us. The same hostess offered them one of the “reserved” tables and they were fully served before us. After waiting for about 1 hour with still no food, we went and complain to the waitress. When we complained, she gaslighted us, claiming she had already brought us “appetizers” (which don’t exist on their menu), and was extremely rude instead of apologizing.
We left, and she even followed us outside to argue and deny any wrongdoing. I later checked their website and found they don’t even take reservations ,so she lied.
This was the most unprofessional and disrespectful service I’ve ever experienced. I truly believe there was racial bias involved. Avoid this place at all costs.

Such a great spot! Please bring back the peppers on the menu 🤤 the drinks, food and staff are great! Fast becoming one of my favourite places! Only thing is that it can get quite loud…

Looove this place. However we waited long to get our table and the place was super crowded and loud, hard to talk to each other. We had the burrata pancakes, the brussel sprouts and the lamb pasta, everything was delicious. The margaritas were great too! Overall good experience.

What a ride. Cam Rioux rocked my world. We trusted her to guide us, guide us on a journey through the depths of hunger and beverage and enjoyment. This experience to me was nothing but hedonism and warmth. I shall be returning post haste.

The place is perfect for a night dinner with friends, good selection of wine and the food is exquisite, the croquettes, the burrata with hot cakes, the flank pork special was so good and the Brussels sprouts amazing !!! Don’t skip dessert it’s so good the peach one

High quality drinks and appies spot! Really friendly servers here that know all versions of the menu off the top of their head and somehow know exactly what you’ll love.
I’m walking away from here still salivating from the sauce used on the Brussels sprouts- a challenge in itself to make those taste good! The deviled eggs were also a hit- my first time trying them and definitely an option I’ll choose elsewhere too!
