We arrived at 6:20 because last time we went at 8:00 was a 1 hour wait, so make sure to arrive early since they don’t take reservations. The burrata truffle pancakes were our favourite dish. We also had the tuna tartar (a tiny bit bland), trout croquettes (crunchy and flavourful), cavatelli (comforting and filling), and brussel sprouts (a lot of sauce, though they could have been more crispy). Overall everything was good! However the cocktails were disappointing (amaretto sour, espresso martini, dirty martini). The atmosphere is great and the staff is really friendly, and we appreciated that they weren’t rushing us out after eating.

I visited the Stem Bar and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The service was slow even though there were only 2 other tables with seated guests. We only got our meal in i wanna say 40 ish mins, but that wasn't our main concern with this place our issue was that the chicken I was served was raw. Sadly I only noticed after eating a few bites. Not only is this a major food safety concern, but it also shows a lack of attention to detail and care in the kitchen how does it take so long to cook but still come out so badly.
I brought it to the staff's attention, but their response was underwhelming. I would have expected a much better handling of such a serious issue. This experience has made me question the overall quality and standards of the restaurant.
Food safety is paramount, and unfortunately, Stem Bar failed to meet that standard during my visit. I hope they take this feedback seriously and ensure such incidents do not occur in the future.
