Let me start by saying—I never try to give a hard time to food service workers. I literally worked at a Subway before, so I know firsthand how overwhelming things can get during busy hours. That said, my recent experience was frustrating enough that I feel it’s important to share.
I placed an online order for a rice bowl and picked it up without being contacted about any missing ingredients. When I got back to work, I realized that not only were three ingredients missing, but there were no utensils in the bag—and the rice itself was completely missing. Kind of essential for a rice bowl, no?
I went back to the restaurant and tried to explain the situation. I had to repeat five times (yes, I counted) that the rice was missing, but the employee kept insisting, “I put the meat.” Eventually, she understood I wasn’t talking about the protein, and I mentioned the other missing ingredients too. After another few minutes, she finally grasped what was wrong.
During the confusion, I asked for a refund but was told they don’t do that and that I needed to contact the Subway help center. I pointed out that I know there’s a way to issue refunds in-store (again—former employee here), and she then said her boss wasn’t there.
Advice for the restaurant: Mistakes happen—it’s normal, especially during rush hours. But there should always be someone on-site who’s capable of handling these situations calmly and effectively, without getting flustered by a basic customer concern.
Advice for future customers: If you order online from this location, double-check your bag before leaving to make sure everything is there. Or, honestly, just go to the Subway in Place Desjardins. They’re still not great at handling the lunch rush, but at least your order usually comes complete.
Horrible service, workers ignored me like I was not there.
I ordered three subs here and they made all of them wrong and put random sauces on them.
Don’t order from here. The basic stuffs they don’t have it early in the morning. Firstly, they are not open on time they are late for almost 30-45 minutes. I have ordered online from subway app. And they don’t have some stuffs so they refuse to make it and payment done online. I told them to cancel. And they have no idea how to do. From subway you can’t cancel the order, so I told them. And they don’t know how to do. I ordered 2-3 times everytime they have missing things. Just Pathetic.
i went in to get a wrap we messed on my protein source u can’t hear anything so i don’t blame him but then he proceeded putting cheese without me asking he starts putting the veggies without my preferences
They dont take coupons here. No valid good reason
I came in around supper time on a Saturday and the place was empty and had plenty of seating. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The employee was nice, the food was prepared in a timely manner and the bathrooms are open to customers!
The service was terrible, I only receive one cookie, everything was out of stock and their was commercial between the music, that was already the worse of my life. Finally the cookie had a terrible shape with too much or not enough chocolate. ☹️😩😭
All the bad reviews you can see recently are real.I hope the manager do something about it because I had a similar experience recently with them ... Def one of the worst

I went there often as it's close to my work, but the last time I wasn't able to get service in French. The employee got the sandwich ingredients wrong several times, the process was laborious. I haven't been back since.

I went today July 23, 2024 at 12:45 p.m. I place my order and the employee answers me a few things in English but there is noise, I make her repeat it and ask her if she speaks French. She tells me no. The next customer she speaks French to him. We are far from customer-focused service. No respect. For me, this Subway I won't go back. I prefer to do 5 minutes more. It’s still incredible not to be able to be served in our language.

Tonight I had a wonderful experience here. The person who took my order and made it was so friendly professional and polite. Explained everything very good and helped me choose a perfect sandwich.
