The reviews made me believe this was the best sushi place in Montreal . However I got seated at the very back of the restaurant on a very uncomfortable stool by a plastic plant box that was falling over on the table .I am an 60 year old woman . Not the target clientele .The rest of the restaurant was under 30 . The waiter was very serious and did not smile once . The first sushis took 39 minutes to come . The rest followed at a decent pace . The sushis were excellent . The table was very small so we could only get one sushi plate at a time .We had to beg to get our water glass filed . The service and the decor of the restaurant made me give it 3 stars . Ryu on Richmond is much better .They treat you nicely and give you a good table even if you are an old woman .

I appreciate the manager’s thought for moving us to a more intimate/romantic table following our reservation, the sushi rolls were delicious (highly recommend the wagyu maki, wow!).Service was friendly, there is a nice romantic atmosphere, perfect place for a date night with a partner.As the waiter said I won’t ever be able to eat sushi the same elsewhere haha. Loved our dinner and my partner enjoyed the sushi as well!

Love this restaurant. Small but great vibe.If you like sashimi, this is the place to go. Reservations are recommended, especially on the weekends.I came here for dinner. The sashimi platter was delicious. All the fish were so fresh.We also had the scallop sashimi and salmon noodles. The salmon noodles were ok. Not my favourite.The service was amazing. The waiter was very knowledgeable and very friendly. He made great recommendations.

Everything I have ordered was super delicious- each piece melts in your mouth, and the flavor was just crazy. The vibe matched with how I expected it to be, and the service was great. I went for my partner’s birthday and they gave us little treat to celebrate ❤️ They were so nice. The price is definitely on a higher side but very much worth it.

We had 4 different rolls (avocado, tuna tartar, nobunaga & gravlax), 300ml sake and a dessert to share. For 2 it was more than enough and absolutely delicious !The atmosphere was very calm, a perfect dating spot.

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first trip to Montreal. The food was outstanding! The fish was fresh, and the presentation was beautiful. The sushi chefs were friendly and welcoming and accommodated our special requests. I'm shocked that this restaurant doesn't have a higher rating. I've eaten sushi all my life, and this was by far some of the best I've had!

Warm atmosphere, excellent and quality food/presentation. Great service from Ricardo who was attentive to our needs and took the time to explain the menu as well as give us good recommendations. We ate the premium sashimi and the hikari maki, it was delicious!! THANKS.
