Sushi Okeya Kyujiro

Just got back from Osaka, Japan, I felt like if I was still in vacation, best Japanese experience, best sushi I ever had in Canada !

A great expérience during this dîner with my son. It was like a theater, every staff know what they have to fo with a precise coordination. All waiters and chefs take care about every customer, as well as each other. A real kindness, excellent meal, amazing taste....congratulations for all the team.

Un repas à 300 $ hors boisson ? Intriguant très cher, entre parenthèses trop, apparemment il nous fallait vérifier. Nous sommes donc allés dans ce restaurant japonais ou prenne une place maximum de 15 personnes, disposer en U autour de la cuisine, une cuisine qui est un spectacle animée par un chef, les plats entre parenthèses les bouches de dégustation, devaient-je dire, devrais-je dire ce succède un rythme trop rapide pour moi Dommage, mais quel plaisir gustatif chaque portion nous en personnellement, et discrètement, annoncé par un serveur, bilingue, un balai et son fond musical, tout est orchestré, millimétré des plats, 100 % japonais avec ses preuves d'origine crustacés, poisson, bœuf de Kobe, un régal, même si les clients ne s'ectasy pas devant les mêmes portions. Alors oui c'est une grosse somme d'argent, mais c'est un vrai voyage qui nous a été proposé.

Honestly, if I had a complaint, it would be that it's too perfect! But that shouldn't be a complaint but more a positive comment. I see why they have a Michelin star. Everything from the start to the end was impeccable. Nothing negative say. I would pay the price again and again for this kind of experience. 100% worth every dollar of how much it costs. Would 100% percent recommend if it's for special occasion.

The food was not to the level of my expectations, especially for the price. The simpler dishes like shime Saba or Otoro were otherworldly, but the composed dishes like the gelly and miso were very meh. People came in 15 minutes late, so the first course was cold. Its simply not worth the price.

We had the absolute pleasure of dining at Okeya Kyujiro last night, and it was the one of the most incredible culinary experience we've ever had. Every detail, from the theatrical presentation to the impeccable service, was flawless. The food was out of this world. Each dish thoughtfully prepared, bursting with flavor, and served with a beautiful sense of ceremony. It wasn't just a meal, it was a performance, and we were fully immersed. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and memorable night out in Montreal!

Really nice experience, love the way how they presented each dish and the ingredients used. Tasty food too. It‘s also very ritualistic. I love it a lot, will come back again to try the dinner menu!

It's like taking a trip to Japan. The atmospheric show is nice and amusing, but the food is outstanding, top rare ingredients, meticulously and perfectly prepared. Worth the trip and the price.
