Nice sushi store. It's the place to grab and get your sushi craving. The quality is good while it's not like your siting down and dine place, it offer takeout options. Which is nice. if you looking for a quick grab sushi, and don't want to overspend, it's a good recommendation.

We took a platter of 88 pieces, and got free dragon rolls and sushi dessert. Overall, everyone liked the sushi but I wasn’t too impressed by the « choix du chef ». The price for the platter is very good and you can order in advance for a special pick up time.

A business colleague offered to take me out in Montreal and suggested sushi sama viaux take out instead of my regular dinner. I reviewed some comments on the websites and I wasn't sure what exactly to expect. There were several 5 stars, some 1 star reviews. I do like sushi a lot but I generally go to the same place all the time as it is known for good tasting food and great prices.
All I can say is that the food was amazing. The best options were the stuffed avocado and the dessert. I didn't order the items so I don't know the names of the dishes. Pretty well each dish had a little bit of tempura on a portion of the dish, not fully immersed in batter.
I will certainly remember this place. The prices are not inexpensive so perhaps the reviews that were on the lower end of the scale were from people who don't normally expect to pay these prices. Improbably will only go back for a very special event or for when entertaining clients.
I wholeheartedly recommend this location if you can afford the menu items.
