Despite having never seen the place in person I can easily say that this is one pf the best and affordable sushi places in downtown! Portion sizes are good, delivery packaging is great and the mix of combos is just right to fit any budget.Amazing food and reliable delivery from Uber. Thanks!

Ordered from Uber eats (left at wrong door) and didn’t receive what I ordered, paid 5$ for shrimp tempura and got a shrimp single roll with no tempura :( very sad wasn’t close to photos on website which is what I ordered

We ordered sushi and the salmon was NOT FRESH. On top of that we ordered two spicy salmon nigiri and received smoked salmon instead with black marks (it was awful). We’re used to eat at Sama and it’s our fave franchise, but this location was a total deception.

Not the best sushi Sama! I wouldn’t recommend this location. Their sushi does not taste fresh at all and their rice felt like had been out for too long. The owner says it unlikely that it wasn’t fresh since they just got back from vacation… well perhaps they did not cook the rice properly and their ingredients just didn’t taste fresh at all. I got the 16 pieces plate and there was no variety in the choices or rolls. I wouldn’t order from this location again.

I only order from Sushi Sama St-Henri location because the quality of the makis and the tempura inside is so much more better than the other Sushi Samas. Please keep up the good work ☺️

I love their poke bowl but it takes them forrrrrrever to prepare, each time I order from this place it take one or two hours. Won’t order again!

Our usual sushi restaurant closed, sadly because of covid. Was suggested my neighbours to give this a try. I did order on a Sunday so I am hoping that is the reason but Sama Sushi will not be my go to for sushi. The quality felt like stale left overs from the previous night. Taste and flavour was ok but when you choose to eat sushi you certainly want to know the freshness factor is very high. The edamames were awful and looked mouldy… We decided to not even tough those. Really want to support restaurants especially with covid effecting them so much but a lack of quality is hard to support.

Quality of the sushis have dramatically decreased lately.In my sushi dessert I got basically only rice.
The 54 pieces was 59$, now 75$. It was good for the price, not any more.

The food is quite good but every time I order with uber eats my order takes FOREVER to be prepared. I have been waiting over an hour for my food and this is the 3rd time this has happened. Not sure I will be ordering from them again.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Ordered for delivery through their website on a Wednesday and it took almost 3 HOURS. I called after 1.5 hours and they couldn't tell me anything except that they were waiting for the driver. When I tried calling back again when it had been well over 2 hours, I realized the restaurant had closed. I was literally walking out the door to go find something else to eat when the driver showed up. I understand being short staffed, but don't offer delivery services if it's going to take this long without any kind of warning or update. Absolutely ridiculous, for average sushi. It's clear from the reviews that this is a common occurrence. Will never, EVER order from this location again.
