Pies are very good. My favorites are the Classic, Butter chicken and pie with sweet potato. One thing that drives me crazy is that the crust is wrapped under the aluminum pan so when you cut into it you can't pick up the slice without tearing apart the slice. The flaky edge breaks into pieces and makes a mess. Please fix this. It's annoying and so simple to correct.
We hired Ta Pies to cater a 60 person office party, it was an easy and enjoyable experience to reserve with them. They were able to provide a variety of pies to share, including vegetarian options. Delivery went really well and everything was delicious! Thank you again Ta Pies!
Perfect comfort food on a cold and rainy day! I ordered the steak and mushroom pie, the big stack (mashed potatoes and mushy peas with gravy, which was made with red wine I believe, and paired very well with the pie), and a lamington cake (which was quite large). I wasn’t expecting to be blown away by a meat pie, but it was truly delicious! Perfectly flakey and not too heavy. The lamington was also delicious! It was decadent but not heavy.
