Delicious! We had the mustard green soup w/ beef and caramelized pork as our entree. For our appetizer we had the crab Imperial rolls. Everything was delicious! The soup and caramelized porc really surprised me as they weren't the Vietnamese flavors I'm used too. I'll definitely come back and try different dishes.

Let me start off by saying the food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. But if you plan on going for a meal, to sit with someone or be in a group, this restaurant is not for you. We showed up on time with reservations made for 5pm on a Saturday. We were told right away that there was an event and that we could only stay for 1-2 hours max. Context, the restaurant was EMPTY, we were the first people there. Fine, but a bit off putting as the first thing we are being told. Waiter takes our order, we ordered 2 table d’hote dishes (one was 39$ and the other was 33$) and another plate (25$) for our 4 year old. All the food came out at the same time and within 10 mins. We got our entree soup and rolls and main dish all at the same time. We felt we were being super rushed. We then asked for soya sauce. The waiter brings us a silver container that had about 2 teaspoons of sauce. Perplexed at how skimpy and cheap they were being I asked for another one since my husband and I both wanted. The waiter answered, one is enough for 2 people. How do you not laugh at this?! I said no it’s not and I would like some. He then came back with another 2 teaspoons of soya sauce. Our bill was 110$.. and we were rushed out in 40 mins. The place was jammed, lineups at the door.. Again if this is what you want sure, but not a dining experience at all.

This is a very sweet genuine Vietnamese restaurant. We've been here a couple of times and have enjoyed it both times. The food tastes delicious and the welcome is warm. Highly recommend.

The best Vietnamese food I've had in Montreal so far. We ordered the $55 set meal, plus chicken wings and glass noodles. Nothing's more comforting than a bowl of hot soup on a cold winter's day. The glass noodles had a unique texture, and the fish sauce chicken wings were incredibly flavorful. Definitely a restaurant I'll return to.

The service was surprisingly fast for a friday packed restaurant! The food was okay for the most of it.. might be a little pricey as there is plenty of options for vietnamese cuisine in our beautiful city tho! So to give you an idea we had 3 appetizers: spring rolls, tum yun soup, and shrimp crispy donut and 5 mains: bun cuon mixed, bun cha, loc lac beef, trio grilled with rice, and crispy noodle mixed for a total of 200$ included tips!

We recently visited T’ami Vietnamese Restaurant in Montreal, and it was the perfect prelude to our upcoming Vietnamese honeymoon. The food felt wholesome, comforting, and beautifully prepared just the kind of cooking that makes you feel taken care of.

We started with the bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls). The delicate rice sheets were silky and light, topped with crispy shallots for just the right crunch. Paired with tender grilled meat, slices of pork sausage, and fresh herbs, it all came together with a dipping sauce that was both savory and slightly sweet balanced and addictive.

The bánh xèo (Vietnamese sizzling pancake) was another highlight. Golden, crisp on the outside, yet soft inside, it was generously filled and paired with fresh lettuce, herbs, and bean sprouts. Wrapping each bite and dipping it in the light fish sauce made every mouthful exciting and refreshing.

We also tried the pad thai while a Thai classic, it was prepared with a Vietnamese touch here. The noodles had a lovely chew, the sauce was tangy with just the right hint of sweetness, and the crunch of peanuts on top tied it all together.

Overall, T’ami gave us a beautiful glimpse into the warmth of Vietnamese cuisine. Each dish felt carefully made, with flavors that were vibrant yet comforting. It truly set the mood for our upcoming travels we left feeling satisfied, happy, and even more excited to experience Vietnam soon.
