✨ Visiting Montreal and had such a great dining experience at Tapeo!
🥩 The beef tartare was super fresh and flavorful.
🦐 The paella à la Tapeo was packed with seafood and so comforting.
Amazing service, cozy atmosphere — totally worth a stop if you’re in town! 🇨🇦🍷
Tapeo is a great Spanish restaurant to share multiple dishes among friends and family. Service was terrific. I really liked the grilled octopus, the monk fish catch of the day and their patata bravas. My son loved his mocktail 🩵
Great food and great vibes! It was our first time and the team made us feel at home!
The food was not what i expected, we were very disapointed! The quantities were very small, we took the tuna, it was full of salt, we had to take out some salt as it was to salty! We took the veal flank as they told us it was very tender, but it was gummy and the meat wasn't tender at all. We sent the plate back and they refunded us. We took 6 tapas, not enough for 2 adults! We went to Meson last month which is very similar to Tapeo and it was much more better. Food was tasty, we had 6 plates of tapas, it was more than enough, we even brought food home as we were not hungry anymore!
Absolutely delicious! A melody to the palate!
Best food around there, tapas to share style, we’ve been going for 10 years now and still, the best.
Why is sitting at the bar always the last available? Dunno…but if Pasha is running the bar, ask for it, nuff said.
Incredible meal! The food was exquisite, the service above and beyond, and the atmosphere cozy. Delicious cocktail and perfect wine pairing.
Particularly recommend the cuttlefish and chorizo.
Really nice place! Formule tapas.
Staff: very attentive people! Valet available at the entrance so you don't have to look for parking with all the snow. They took our coats at the entrance, nice detail. First they served bread with olive oil. We chose a good wine and didn't have to touch it all evening. They changed our plates and utensils several times.
Food: Overall, I liked the food. I fell in love with the beef tartare 😍 I also liked the octopus and the piri piri chicken! They could play a little more with the texture of the mushroom dish.
Ambiance: the decor was Ok! Warm lighting. Music Ok.
I recommend this place 🫶🏻
Had a wonderful evening. The food was amazing

This place is a must go
Food is fresh and amazing
recommanded the tortilla espagnol, veal,
Always a great time at tapeo. Food, service and vibe is excellent. Prices are good too.
Pros: Food is good, albeit expensive.
Cons: Felt like I was at a car dealership, with the waiter wanting to double everything we ordered, making us order more food than we could eat. Super loud at times.
If you love Spanish cuisine, this restaurant is a must-try! The service is warm and attentive from the moment you walk in, and the dishes are all fantastic—you can’t go wrong. The beef tartare with crispy potato strips was amazing, and the Tapa of the Day’s bread, toasted to perfection with a flavorful sauce and ham, was a standout. The seafood paella is one of the best in Montreal, with generous toppings and perfect seasoning. Don’t miss the churros either—they’re incredible! A great experience overall. Make sure to reserve in advance!
