I was staying nearby and decided to try Haïtienne food for the first time. I ordered the poulet plat which came with chicken, rice and beans, plantains and spicy sauce. Portion size was sufficient and the woman working there was very friendly. The prices were reasonable and music in the background was a plus. It was an overall great experience and hope to return next time I'm in Montréal.
This is my go to spot for amazing griot. I try other places and they do always feel like it's missing something and this place has yet to be dethroned for the top spot for me. Lovely rice, sauce, tender meat and crisp delicious banan. My only complaint is that I can't get enough of this place and my wallet suffers as a result

Didn't expect plantains because that's imported unlike in Florida but they were delicious!
