Everyone was so nice. The waiter recommended national dishes and warned us if the food might be spicy.

Not sure where all these rave reviews came from but they sure did fool me… I question the cleanliness of the restaurant. We were the first and only ones at the restaurant and the bathroom was beyond disgusting, the tablecloths were full of crumbs, food flies everywhere. There was no vibe (we were the only ones in the restaurant). The waiter pushed his expensive lemonade on us before we even had a chance to look at the menu (and the price of the lemonade). He was also not very attentive considering we were the only ones. He brought the water bottle, but never any glasses. He never came back to ask if everything was ok. The food was just ok, very expensive for what you get. Seafood gargoulette at 39$ was supposed to come with mussels but there was none and they didn’t say anything. At that price, it also came with no sides (some potatoes cooked with the seafood would have been good). The honey lamb was just ok as well, the mashed potatoes that came with it tasted weird. You would think the lamb is cooked with the honey but it’s just added in the end with pistachios. Overall we were very disappointed and would not recommend.

It’s a solid place but I was expecting more based on the reviews, and it’s really just a small step below them. Nice different flavors, but nothing really blew me out of the water. The bread is good, haha.

We came here cause of the good reviews but the service and waiting time of our food said otherwise…

Lovely Tunisian place on Duluth. Food was great but we felt portions are a little mismatched. For example couscous could benefit from more veggies not just two pieces. The Creme Brûlée was delicious!
The setup is good but the music was coming from one mega speaker on the floor by the entrance door, super loud and totally overwhelming. Suggest to look into the music and acoustic setup which can elevate the dining experience tremendously.

Tried it yesterday for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised with the quality or the food. The
meals had quite a unique flavour which we really enjoyed. Will be going back.

The food was super tasty and the vibe was amazing:
We had the couscous with lamb and it was amazing , the meat was super tender coming off the bone with zero effort, very flavorful and simply well balanced , not overly spicy so it suits all palettes, the quantity was generous so I recommend going starving to inhale everything 😆
We tried also the Tunisian Brik: with shrimps as well as the classic one with Tuna and it was great, make sure to squeeze lemon on it before eating it.
The cherry on top was la crème brûlée au pistache , a piece of heaven , it was not planned but we had to try it , light , fresh, not too sweet , just perfect for someone who enjoys dessert without feeling guilty, every bite was enjoyable and we had also the Tunisian tea!
My friend had the homemade lemonade which was also super fresh and yummy 🤤
Overall we had the full Tunisian experience with great choice of music , not too loud which makes conversation flow easily !
We are definitely going back 😁

Amazing cuisine served in a warm, caring, attentive, and casual atmosphere. Don't miss the signature gargoulette dishes and the delicious, labor intensive house lemonade. The owner took time out on a very busy night to explain how each dish was made. Run, do not walk to this fantastic place, but make sure you have a reservation!

We went here, because of the high ratings on Google and as we wanted to try an exotic cuisine, I describe everything in one word: disappointing 😞

J'ai découvert Terracotta pour mon anniversaire. Une expérience inoubliable, tant pour la nourriture que pour le service. Je vous recommande chaudement ce restaurant !
We ate at Terracotta our first night in Montreal and it did not disappoint! We got a table right away, the server was fantastic; she was kind, helpful, and gave really great recommendations. We ordered the mechouia salad to share and then my husband got the fruits de mer (seafood) gargoulette and loved it, I got the poulet (chicken) ojja which I also loved but it was very spicy so make sure you’re up for that!
The only downside of our experience is we were seated next to their trash (maybe recycling?) bins and it got a little smelly at times. The food and cheerful waitress made this easy to overlook but it was a bummer especially when dining.
