That place is truly a hidden gem! Unspectacular from the outside, but inside really good Mexican food and nice atmosphere. Nothing fancy, just honest and tasty food and great service.

Very cute place albeit small (better come early or make a reservation). They have two tables outside to enjoy the last remnants of summer.
To start, their drinks are the bomb. The Pina colada is simply perfect. We had entrees (jalapeno poppers and cheese sticks) that were good but not exceptional. I had the salad bowl with beef. The meat was well seasoned and I enjoyed my meal. We asked for their spiciest sauce and were very disappointed, unfortunately. Not a bad experience and I encourage people who don't enjoy extra spicy food to try it out. But if you want the real Mexican food experience, there are better places in Montreal.
The service was friendly and efficient even though the place was packed and our server was only helping the owner out for the night.
Overall, I recommend it if you prefer mild mexican-ish flavors or just to grab a cocktail.
