Absolute best Thai Express location. Every dish is great and they have stayed consistent over the years.

Thai Express is a franchise and I always expect the same quality no matter where I go in Canada.
That sadly is NOT the case.
This was driven home to me when I was fortunate enough to be in my old neighbourhood in Montreal today- at the Alexis Neon Plaza- in the food court (which can be quite enjoyable, most especially if you take your food out under the vast sun roof, where there is plenty of light and space and right now fun festive holiday lights)

The food at the Alexis Neon’s Thai Express puts all others in the dust.
Fresh, not over sauced with a variety of veges, not just green peppers and onions.
They take the time to inquire about dietary concerns(I’m a gluten sensitive) in addition to the friendly relaxed service.
It feels “homey” in a food court.
Imagine that.

It hasn’t changed in quality since we left that neighbourhood in 2018. And I mean it when I say, I go to that Franchise every where I work out of town and in Montreal expecting the same quality. I am however, always disappointed.
Today did not disappoint. Yummy!
Great to be back.
Lovely To see friendly faces and eat tasty healthy food at a reasonable price. Toujours Merci

I can't speak for every item on the menu, because I always get the chicken pad thai. I think for a mall restaurant they do a pretty good job. The portions are generous and tasty. There could be room for improvement! For the most part tho, I actually enjoy eating here alot, and I specifically come here when I'm craving thai express!

I've never seen Thai chicken curry made of chicken nuggets. Tastes like worst KFC artificial meat. The cooks are very rude. They simply point in a direction when I asked a question. When I asked again, one guy was visibly irrirated and simply pointed to another waiter and shouted, "ask him!" They should be ashamed of providing such terrible food and service that ruins the reputation of Thai cuisine. 3 star is for the Atwater mall public dining area.

I will disagree with the previous comments because after several visits I can attest that the food was fresh, well priced, delicious and my brain says thank you every time.

A DISGRACE to Thai food! So disappointing!!! Really wanted to have a good hot plate of Pad Siew - noodles were hard, Chicken was overcooked, no flavor besides soy sauce. Where is the fiery wok?Cooked n served in less a minute, even Maggi mee takes about 5 minutes to cook.

I wouldn't feed my dog their food. Soggy rice and when you call to complain they treat you like the food they serve. Avoid this restaurant!

Had general Thai and medium Thai soup both were awful and tasteless - chicken was over fried and flavour was off, noodles in soup were either over cooked or undercooked

I’ve had Thai express many many times before and take general Thai each time but it’s probably the worst one yet

Employees were nice tho so that’s why I’m giving two stars instead of one

I want to throw away my meal but i won’t since I dislike wasting and I did spend about 25$ In total

Not as good as when they first started. The general tao meal I brought today tasted old, rice soggy..
