I wouldnât suggest ordering from this establishment even if youâre desperate for a drink as a tired university student because you will only be disappointed by the dismal quality of products and poor customer service.
I had ordered the new white chocolate pistachio iced latte for something new and the barista had asked me, âwhite chocolate pistachio?â To clarify the flavour and I agreed. I paid and took a look at my receipt and noticed that I had an order placed for hot chocolate rather than my iced latte⌠Soon enough, I received the hot chocolate version of the line. I pointed out the error to the barista that took my order but she confidently said that I had ordered the hot chocolate instead of the iced latte with a condescending tone of voice. With my mood soured, I gave up and accepted it because it would be a waste of money on my end and wasted food (even if itâs just powder and hot water) and didnât want to hold up the line. I decided to give the hot chocolate a try and sure enough, it turns out to be regret in liquid form.
As someone who has been employed in high paced customer service before, Iâm usually lax with errors in my order however the tone of voice my barista has shown me is unacceptable. I will certainly share my experience at this location with everyone I know and make them aware of what kind of service they will receive. I am not mad, just utterly disappointed.
