There are Time Out Markets around the world, mainly in North America and Europe, and the Montreal location is no exception—it’s excellent. You’ll find a wide variety of restaurants and food types to choose from, all in a food-court style setting. The atmosphere is lively, and there are also bars serving drinks and cocktails.
Beyond the food, the market often hosts special events and guest chefs, so you can enjoy unique culinary experiences. Overall, a great spot for food lovers with plenty of options under one roof.
Do keep in mind that since it’s located downtown Montreal, parking can be a challenge. The easiest option is to use the indoor parking at the mall or other lots nearby, though some are less convenient.

Excellent choice if you're not sure where to eat/want a quick meal or drink. A wide variety of options. We tried Italian, and it was very good. Had the ravioli and fusili. Both were very good.

DO NOT GO.
We ordered from Marusan ,the beef curi which was good no complaints there. However, we ordered the poulet karaage which was RAW. I’m talking pink and cold. We immediately addressed the staff which said « it’s not raw »…. I’ve inserted a picture for all to see. Finally when the manager came out he seemed annoyed to give us a refund on the chicken only and did not apologize once. Very disappointed with my whole experience.Time out market please address this issue.

Amazing place, good food, good beer. First time there!
We visited the Eaton Centre the day before and were disappointed with the food court selection, where we ended up overpaying for an overly saucy, super spicy chicken pad Thai and some A&W. It wasn’t until later that we discovered the real action was upstairs at the Time Out Market. It definitely felt like we missed out, since we would have much rather spent our money there.
We actually came back the next day just to eat at the Market. Parking was a headache—no street parking available ($4.25/hour), so we had no choice but to use the underground, which was a shocking $4.50 every 20 minutes. Finding a spot was also tough, with many cars squeezed into non-designated areas. After circling, we finally exited P2 and found available spots on P1, where fewer people seemed willing to risk re-entering the lot.
Between parking and meals, we probably spent around $100 for four people. Food prices were steep—$24 for pizza, $18 for ramen, and $20 for a Caprese sandwich—but everything tasted great, definitely better than the regular food court. The vibes were fun and lively, though seating was hard to come by. I appreciated the little touches like self-serve water and buzzers for each order, which made it easy for one person to pick up food from multiple counters without waiting around.
Overall, the food was delicious and the atmosphere enjoyable, but given the prices (especially with parking), it felt expensive for a self-serve setup. Still, it’s a way better choice than the Eaton Centre food court.

Amazing experience. We were actually looking for Le Central that is a similar place but different vibe. I recommend this place if you are with friends or family

A must-try food court in downtown Montreal! There’s really something for everyone and it’s always crowded. The prices are up there, but everything I’ve tried has been good. This time it was the bun bao at Chanthy Yen. The extra fries portion was huge, enough to share.

Who would have thought eating at a food court would be so fancy? It's a neat concept to show off different flavours and styles and there's food for all tastes. Wish I had a bigger appetite to try from more vendors!

Ibéricos.
Tried the chicken and chistorra paella (menu says Spanish chorizo, but I’m pretty sure it was chistorra) and it was magnificent! The flavors, cooking, and seasoning were absolutely spot on.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Time Out Market.
But can we say something about these bathrooms please.
They are incredibly disgusting and under maintained. Each stall is like a mini minefield of grossness. I’m all for gender nonconformity but can we have a room for stalls and a separate room with stalls+urinals back?
